Need a job.. help

Hey sythe.. I'm fairly new around here and am currently seeking an opportunity amongst the community to make some extra money and provide for my small family.. Im 20 years old and currently have a lot of financial obligations to take care of. I have a 2 year old son and 2100 dollars of debt accumulated through credit just to stay afloat.. lately the job search has been strenuous and unsuccessful, i literally applied to 20+ jobs this past month and only two places responded with a "sorry you're not a good fit to do our ridiculously basic job" bottom line is I'm getting desperate. the reason I'm even out a job is because I got jumped at my last one and nearly killed. (I worked at a recording studio as a recording engineer so the environment was a wild one.) being without that weekly income has taken its toll on me massively.. I've lost everything from my room to my baby mom to my will to keep going..all I've managed to keep is my laptop and my car (which might get repoed very soon) I don't know if this is a plea for help or just me venting but I'm reaching out to you guys in hopes that maybe just maybe there's an opportunity to work somehow someway to survive.. I can sit on my computer for hours and be a customer service rep for your gold site, or I could help with tasks you need done.. anything I can do from my laptop to make an honest dollar I'm willing to do... all in all i don't want this to come off as a huge sob story about my less than perfect life but more like I'm willing to do whatever it takes to work and make a dollar... please give me a chance sythe i won't let you down..

Besides the above you can also start a little business of your own on Sythe. For example start merching gold, do a service for people or anything else that people will pay for.

Have u applied for benefits when you're unemployed? It's not much but anything can help.

 

I'd recommend you starting off with some oldschool services. Work your way up, gain vouches and then you can make business just like everyone else.

Go to the nearest McDonald's/Burger King/ice cream parlour or any other sort of place that my be hiring.

I'm not sure what your qualifications are, but honestly something is better than nothing.

Don't let your pride/ego ever get in the way.
Take whatever job you can get.
A real job. Not a "business" over here.

Most people running a business over here do it for extra income.. not for their only source of income.

EDIT: For future reference, anybody who can't sustain themselves should never start a business. A business has a lot of risks. Make sure you have the risk taking capacity before you do any such thing. Get a fixed income first and then do something on the side if you want to.

 

Car dealerships are always looking for car washers you'll get full-time hours and good pay.

 

Man this sounds harsh but keep your head up and keep looking.

 

I'd recommend not looking for employment here, if you find a livechat job the pay will be absolute shit. Since you still have your car, I'd recommend trying to get a job as a delivery driver. I did it for a couple years and it's a great job for someone with no education/experience to start out. At Dominos I was making ~min. wage + tips and it ended up being around $13-15/hr which is not bad at all for a fuckaround job. Good luck man, hope things work out for you.

Question your friends and family, people talk. one person's word may lead to a job trial for you, dont be afraid to reach out

 

Definitely don't give up on searching for a job, keep filling out applications because it's definitely better than doing nothing. As a previous comment suggested you also live in California so it might be in your best interest to apply for a Navy/Military related job since the military is a huge part of California.
