1)Succesfull account trades:

Ok so,most sythe users Buy or Sell accounts.
Most accounts that you buy or sell are members,right?...so you will give/recieve some information regarding:

-Previous : ~ Passwords.
~Transaction Id's.
~Agreement numbers.

Here's a few security tips :

1) When you recieve a transaction id,keep this in mind :
They almost ALWAYS (99ish% of the time) start with the number ---> 2.
They are ALWAYS made up of -----> 9 digits <---- such as 234567891.
----If you recieve a transaction id from a person that is selling you an account that starts with 1,3,4,5...9 then that person is almost certain to be a scammer. If the number you recieve is not made up of 9 digits....yeah...scammer! ----

2)Agreement numbers :
They almost ALWAYS start with the number 8.
They are ALWAYS made out of ----> 7 <---- digits such as 8235612.

3)Previous passwords:
Most people,when changing a password,make the new password similar to the older one (as not to forget) so if you recieve information such as revious passwords - "crappy1" ,"junkee","1241412","amonkeytakingacrap"
then Trade with Caution.
Keep in mind that not all people make passwords with any similarities between them,but most people do,since it's easyer to memorize something similar to something we had already memorized...hmm...

4)Pictures:
If you are buying a low level account that Will Not be ranked on highscores and you need evidence that it's skills match your requirements,you should request a picture of the account's stats.
If you recieve a picture,always ADD UP the stats of the account (32 attack + 1 str + 20 def + 1 fletching + 30 wc...) and see if the result you obtain is the same as the account's TOTAL LEVEL.
Don't buy an account that has 30 attack,20 defence,30 strenght and all other skils 1 that says "total level 61" or something since it's definetly a scam.

5)Hax!!!:
If you have had trouble with hackers in the past and lost an account to them,try searching verry hard in the e-mail you can remember that you have subscribed the account to members.You will find a message from "shopperid.co.uk" with the subject "Your transaction confirmation" or something similar.In that e-mail you will find a TRANSACTION ID that you can use with 2 previous passwords,your own e-mail,postal code and a random date to recover your account,even if the hacker had set recoverys on.

Good information, and this could prevent some scams, however, I really doubt noobs will read this. Well, noobs are noob.

 

Been posted on several occasions, I guess it's still good for the people know are unaware..


But, your step 3, I find that statement completely wrong. I happen to have a good memory, and so I can change my password to complete opposite of what it was Ex: Moose9402 to Giraffecrap1367 Even if I didn't have a good memory I could just write it down.

So, w/e. But good guide otherwise.

i dont keep my passes similar, its easier for me to write down all of my accounts and previous passes to those accounts on a piece of paper. i never forget any of my passes anyways =P

I have concluded from my pin buying that Pins from the US 99% of the time start with a 0 or 7.

Uk starts with 5.
