Treegp refusing to pay my 930 USD

Explenation of the trade:
I sold him 1b 07 for 910 USD last friday, due to circumstances on his end I did not receive any bitcoins yet. He paid me 910USD on paypal to “hold” saturday evening, when he had bitcoin i would refund the payment and he would pay me my bitcoin immediately.

One hour ago i went to the live chat, he told me had had the bitcoin so i refunded the payment, the payment is marked as completed on my end, for some reason it isn’t on his end and he’s afraid i will make a dispute like i could scam him for the 910 USD, i think that is understandable.

But i am tired of waiting as he just should have paid me in bitcoins fridaynight. So i tried to find a way to make him pay me now like promised before. I googled if it is possible to cancel a refund. As u can see here a PayPal moderator confirms it isn’t possible.

Treegp refuses to pay because he says paypal changes their “shit” all the time, I don’t know anything about paypal as I don’t use it, i had to get a friends paypal to hold this 910 USD in the first place.
Since he did think the information could have been outdated I called paypal: I typed out the conversation to Tree:

- When does the payment get marked as completed on his paypal

I just looked in the system it says 2 june, that's friday.

- Why? it's already marked as completed for me

That's just the system, how it works

then i asked

- the thing is he's basically scared that i can stop the refund and like "scam" his 910 dollars, is that possible?


No it is not possible to cancel a refund when it is marked as completed on your wallet
So now he wants to wait until friday and that would add up to making me wait 7 days, that is unreasonable as there is no reason he can’t just pay me now.

The actual reason why i want my money asap paid out in bitcoin is I read about ripple and want to buy it now as the price now is interesting to buy at (IMO) it has already raised since i wanted to buy it so i’ve already made extra loss due to this. By friday it might have rose again.

I just believe he should pay me now and that’s why i’m making this report, as well as seeing multiple reports against him in the past so just want to make sure i don’t get scammed


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When he send me the paypal to “‘hold” he said i will just sent you the amount of bitcoin we agreed on friday night which was 0.42532308 BTC.
When he said this bitcoin had crashed so i wasn’t to keen on accepting this so in return we agreed on this.
“so ifi ts below 2030 usd we do rsgp refund for the paypal, if its above 2235 usd u just send 930 worth
ok?”

I proposed this so I would have lost max over 40 usd and profited max 40 usd over this annoying situation.
He agreed to this (he can show it in the chatlog), however bitcoin is now over 2235 usd so this would mean he would just send 930 worth (which still makes me lose out money) but i’m not gonna bitch about that.
So basically he would have to send me 930 USD worth of bitcoin, as that is what we agreed on, He said he’ll only pay 910 USD, forgot what reason he can link the chat log i guess.
So this is the second part of this “report”
Does he pay me out 910 USD or 930 USD (like we both agreed on in his chat)

So like I said before according to 2 paypal employees it isn’t possible for me to cancel this refund and i need the bitcoin asap so I hope he has to pay me today.

NOTE: On one of the screenshots u can see him saying he just wants to refund the rsgp because according to our terms he would have to pay 930 usd now, it won't be possible for me to sell the 1b @930 usd so i don't think that's something he can do?

How they scammed:
Refusing to pay out my money for days now, all due to problems on HIS end.

I owe the customer 910$ in btc for 1b at .91/m , had issues with my wallet so i sent him 910$ in paypal, so he wouldnt think i was scam quitting or something, he refunded the payment and it's labeled as pending on my side, i told him as soon as it's cleared i would send him the bitcoin.

He asked if he should make a scam report to insure i would pay him as soon as it was finished 'pending' on my side and i said yes that's fine.

Reason im doing this is because refunds that are sent when the money is in a bank account 100% can be stopped, and i have dealt with paypal for a lot of annoying issues in the past, and multiple times have heard one thing and found out another thing to be true later own the road. I would rather be safe than sorry and wait for it to clear.

 

I think we agreed on u sending
The amount of bitcoin u should have send friday evening. Thats the first thing the mods will have to decide and second thing they have to decide is wether u have to pay up now or friday, according to multiple paypal employees it is impossible to refund the payment now. If possible for a mod call paypal yourself and ask them like i did

 

The average Paypal employee is fucking dumb. The refund isn't instant for a reason. You probably refunded via your bank or credit card or whatever and PayPal automatically processes the refund when the funds are available. However, when you decide to call your bank and block PayPal, the refund will be canceled and you get the chance to run with $910 USD. You shouldn't have accepted PayPal in the first place. Just wait until the transaction is marked completed on both ends.

 

@Moes you are mistaken

Like i said before the paypal isnt mine it is from a friend of mine.

I didnt refund via his bank or credit card because he doesnt want the statements to be visible to his parents. If he didnt care i would have just withdrew the money via his paypal and there wouldnt be a problem.

And what about the 910 or 930 usd thing, because we agreed on 930.
According to multiple sources that makes it impossible for me to cancel the refund

 

Yeah i agree moes, only thing is it's not his fault, he didnt want paypal. It's not my fault either, its the exchanges fault because of the massive increase in btc transactions lately with the rise.

I had owed like 4-5k in btc to gold sellers that day, all sent from my bitfinex account, and then it wasnt sending, and everyone was upset (understandable) he was the most upset, so i offered to send paypal as a temporary payment because he thought i was scam quitting. I paid back everyone else their btc today (when i got the bitfinex issue resolved) but now he's the last one i have to pay because of the pending issue.

I'm 99% sure the refund is coming i just want to be sure

 

We had agree'd .91/m when i bought the gold, but because of all the headaches caused, even tho its not my fault lol.. ill do .93 just because i value my customers being happy more than an extra 15-20$ for the gold.

 

@peter vlerick the transaction is still pending for @Treegp so once its completed he can send you the 930 he owes you.

@Treegp please update me once the transaction has been completed.

 

Ye ok whatever @veng , person of paypal i called with said it would get completed for tree on friday.

Wewt wait a whole week for a payment, first time for everything i guess

 

Sorry for the wait but there's not much we can do about this. Looks like your just going to have to wait until Friday unfortunately.

 

Update:
Came into live chat 3 hours ago. Asked if it was completed on his end, it was.

Then he asked my address, gave it. He told me he sent payment but after 2 hours and 45 minutes i received it.
He send it again via a strange site, not a wallet which resulted in to me having to wait too long again and losing 30 usd.

Thread can be closed i guess but force him to pay out from a fucking bitcoin wallet instead of a fucking trade website so tired of all these small little fag tricks

 

bro stop complaining, the btc was sent right before it tanked, if it rose u wouldnt have been whining
