Important Runescape Account Rules and Basic Practices

IMPORTANT RULES:

○ An explicit refund and returns policy must be defined by the seller and agreed upon by the buyer (in writing) before a sale occurs. This is extremely important as it protects both Buyer and Seller.
○ In order for a policy to be enforced, the seller must ensure the buyer has read, understood and agreed to said policy.

○ Failure to comply with the above may result in disputes being awarded to the buyer by default.

○ Sellers are responsible only for the original sale price of the account, not for any wealth on the account or any increase in value from levels, quests, items, etc.

○ Anyone who wishes to sell an account must maintain "recovery responsibility" (they must refund their buyer if the account is recovered or becomes locked and they are unable to unlock it) for at least a month after the sale.

○ IF YOU ARE AN ACCOUNT SELLER AND YOU DO NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTION YOUR RECOVERY RESPONSIBILITY IN YOUR TOS, BY DEFAULT YOU HAVE RECOVERY RESPONSIBILITY FOREVER!

○ It is the seller's responsibility to disclose to the buyer if the account has ever been botted on.

○ Price checks are NOT allowed in this section, if you're looking to price check your account, post it here: Price Checks

If an account is sold under a payment plan:
○ The seller must indicate on his or her sales thread that it was sold "UNDER PAYMENT PLAN" and the details of the payment plan must be agreed upon by both Seller and Buyer (in writing)
○ The seller must not exchange vouches with the buyer until the final payment is received.

○ You can not have more than 1 thread in this section, if you have multiple accounts to sell that fit in this section, post them all in one account shop thread

Threads MUST display the follow information or they will be locked.

If your account has any offence history you must notify your buyer before trading. Failure to do so will result in disputes being awarded to the buyer by default.

What accounts belong in this section [Pure & Skiller accounts 03-99]

○ Any Runescape account which is a Pure or Skiller between combat levels 03 and 99

What accounts don't belong belong in this section [Pure & Skiller accounts 03-99]

○ Hacked or Phished Accounts - Sythe.org does NOT allow or promote sales of any sales of this kind. You will be banned.
○ Any account level 99 or over
○ Any Runescape account which is a Main, defined here
○ Any name sales trades, they belong here.

Definition of a Pure Account:
Combat pures focus on training certain skills that they hold most relevant for successful combat. This can either be combat skills or skilling skills.

If no apparent care was taken to limit your account's combat level, it is not a pure.

Definition of a Skiller Account:
A Skill pure or Skiller is a player that develops non-combat skills rather than combat skills.

More information on Skillers can be found in this detailed guide: Skill pure
Any combat skills with a higher level than 1 is NOT a Skiller.

Definition of a Main Account:
A main account is an account that has any skills trained at or above 1.
