It is possible that the account was locked by Jagex for security reasons and it happens from time to time. What @sytherrr should do is try and recover the account for you. Was he the original owner?

 

I thought that the first time so I did the password reset to unlock the account then he started going ghost on skype and then the account got locked again like 5 mins or so later which I believe is because he tried to recover the account back. I believe @sammybarcode is the OO.

 

I'm not the original owner. I bought it off sammybarcode. When I did buy it it did happen to me too but he managed to solve it. So he should talk to him instead.

 

Also, this is not good proof of the account being locked. That's just a chopped username entered on the login window.

 

I didn't want to release the username, I will PM you better proof.

Well he never said anything about permission to sell. I just wanted to sell it to fund my other account.

 

Alright so in this case we would need @sammybarcode to make the account recovery.

I am not the original owner of the account in question. I did make this clear to @Syther when I sold him the account.

The recovery information i have on the account was all given across upon purchase to @Syther

There was no permission to resell , although i was aware of them talking about some sort of deal but i was in work when this was happening and didn't really understand.

Happy to provide screenshots off anything on request.

I purchased the account off him 5 weeks ago.

 

I will try my best to help him.

 

The guy hasn't been online for more than 3 weeks. I would love to say that this was just a Jagex preventive lock but this being a high caliber main account with pets and 11 99's it is very likely that Infinital recovered the account.

Have you tried an account recovery @hand frag?

 

I have not attempted to recover the account as I thought it would be pointless with the insufficient recovery details, @sytherrr is trying to recover it.

I doubt it buddy. Simple reason being , if he had intentions of recovering the account , he would've done it within the 5 week period i had it. Or more specifically around the time he was last on Sythe.

It certainty wasn't me either , the account in question was out of my control for a whole week and everything was fine.

After that , @hand frag didn't even have the account one day and it was locked.

I'm not jumping to negative conclusions and pointing the blame....i hope it was Jagex locking it due to strange activity and not someone being malicious.
