You stating that winning Europa League is big - is a perfect example of being influenced by united + media manufactured narrative as per what I said previously. I previously said there was clearly a manufactured narrative by the media and united to make the 'top 6' relevant and the Europa League relevant just because United are in it - they are shit, Jose's comments towards giving up on league and basically using 2nd team in like half a dozen games.

I still don't think he's content with winning just the Europa league, but given how the cards fell this year it was about the best they could have done. And again, it was the last trophy to add to the cabinet, so it does hold some importance.

And like I stated before, you avoid the qualification stages of UCL with the Europa League victory, so it's just as valuable as the top 4 if not more so, given it is a major european trophy. Give me that in a second over Liverpool + City's season. And probably even Tottenham tbh. No real prestige in finishing 2nd, that's just first loser. And the race for first place was never all that close.

Edit: Also I'm pretty sure when Mou said that the Europa League did NOT give Champions League positions.
