purchased account banned on login (crazypipe)

Explanation of the trade: Had seen his profile on google, had added him and purchased an account from him. He gave me accoutn details i registered email and changed password. Then because im in australia i left to sleep, woke up to give the account the cooling down period that is recommended to try and avoid bans of around 18 hours. Logged in and the account instantly disconnected and was banned. I logged into the site (runescape) to find the account was banned. I contact crazypipe who has basically come up with 4/5 bullshit excuses, first saying he would check the account login times (which is not possible), then he would contact a runescape mod (they will not respond to bans), he then came back and accused me of getting the account banned and said he would not refund me! When i called him out on his bullshit he said he would block me on skype!

So i am now coming to sythe community as i know he trades on here to get some kind of money back! As i have said to him i will accept another account (the same stats) as what i paid for, or a 100% refund on the money paid for the account

He asked which forum i have an account which is osbot, as i zulrah farm and buy/sell gp on there.

Because of this he assumed that I botted the account or that my IP is flagged, I told him that i buy vpns from virmach for my bots and that they never log into my home IP. All of my accounts that i play are safe and have no issues. The accounts that i buy and selling gold from are also from a virmach proxy to keep my main accounts safe.

He then continued to accuse me of botting the account and that i was 'stupid botter'. at this point in informed him that all of my playing accounts are leveling by hand by RSWAP, in which i have paid him personally over $5000, to level numerous accounts, as was the plan for the account i brought from crazypipe, I was going to pay rswap to level the account to the desired levels, then pay for the quests (can provide paypal receipts to show this is what i do with numerous accounts).

I will still accept another account from him with the same levels even though i am no weary of the customer service that i have received from crazypipe.

May i note that crazypipes first language is not English so explaining to him in details about the entire issue has been difficult and i do believe that some of it has been lost in translation.

 

Hello, first i want to say that i helped him make a sythe thread because i can continue dealing with the situation atm. The user bought 3 accounts from us, we sold over 7 accounts last 48hours, 1 of which to him, only his was banned 24hrs after login. I dont think its from us because when i checked the acc it wasnt banned, had no email linked to it I asked the user to check the acc after purchase he said checking... and never replied, 24hours after he said it was banned. Our accs arent botted, the macroing ban is unlikely to be from us(u can get macro banned without botting, for playing too much etc, but in this case i dont think thats the valid reason) After checking with griff he told me he has a botfarm and i think this can somehow flag him and got it banned.

 

If a sythe mod tells me, i can give him a new account, the issue is that i dont believe the ban occured because of a mistake from our side, like any person that buys an account then buys gold or decides to bot some range on it and gets banned can blame us(happened in the past)

i was going to give him a new account at first, after trying to submit an unban request but after he told me a wanker because i didnt reply for 15minutes and told me im an idiot i though otherwise. I told him to make a report here and let mods decide.

 

As crazypipe said i can agree on that i will happily continue to work with him regarding this issue! As he said i have brought gold, however this was after the account was banned (not to the account in question, nor was it on the same IP).


Edit; Id also like to thank crazypipe for showing me how to make this thread to come to a decision from the help for the mod! as previously stated i will happily accept either a refund, or a new account. As a show of good faith i will happily send another $20 as i understand that he will be out of pocket due to loss of the first account and in giving me another. I will happily send him a further $20, to help settle this issue, as he did give me discount on the account that i purchased the $20 will cover the account to the full price.

I will do this as a show of good faith, as well as the fact i wish to continue doing business with crazypipe and his workers.

Unfortunately, given the circumstances (particularly that you admit to running a bot farm) and considering that the account was banned after it was in your possession for 20+ hours, I don't think that this is really something that we can hold crazypipe responsible for. Will leave this open for another staff member's opinion though.

 

This is correct. The ban may actually have been caused by crazypipe or the OP but it is not something that can be proved either way. Once the account is sold, any ban risk is assumed to the buyer, that goes for macro bans, rwt bans, account sharing bans, etc

I would recommend that @crazypipe attempt to appeal the ban on the account and if it is unbanned, return it to the buyer but there is no guarantee of anything coming of that either
