The end of RS3?

OSRS has been increasing players overtime after the release hype.
RS3 has been slowly decreasing the average players. If you're going to site the most recent month as oh RS3 is making a comeback, no.

they gave people 2x exp because nobody wants to play RS3. (nobody being hyperbole.)

While I prefer 07scape I don't think rs3 is dead! There's still lots to do and many great quests etc. For grinders they might actually prefer it

 

I judge people who still play rs3 its like people who dont have butter on there toast its weird

 

Recently started playing rs3 again on a new ish kinda acc. Hopefully my main gets unbanned. I don't think rs3 is going to be dying anytime soon tbh otherwise i wouldn't be playing. I know i commented something similar but this is kinda an update since i actually started playing rs3 now.

 

I'm pretty sure RS3 is going to die when OSHD becomes approved.

I've played to comp on RS3 and its just grind after grind after grind.

They even lost the Mod Chris who was supposed to finish up raids but its just left unfinished with ??????? as the last 2 options.

The pvm aspect of RS3 is essentially afk with soul split or blood neck have your pet automatically pick up your drops.

The bossing aspect of RS3 is hard as fuck. I used to do araxxor for money it was a good consistent 14m/hr but now with Telos they just fucking ramped it up.

But RS3 is social. Something OSRS isn't. It has hubs like Priff and Max Guild where you hang out at.

In OSRS its fine to not max. In RS3 you better be trimmed comp or ur a fuckboi.

 

I agree with most of this but the reason OSRS isn't social is mostly because the bulk of the community is legitimately a bunch of spastic neckbeards. I prefer OSRS over Rs3 but I prefer RS3's community for the most part. OSRS community is so annoying. But mileage may vary of course, it's all about personal / anecdotal evidence. My personal / anecdotal evidence is very negative in dealing with 07 community.

 

I was looking at the 07 sub reddit. Its pretty nasty compared to RS3s. They flipped out over a rainbow scarf. 90%of them don't even go outside to realize the 2017 Pride event coincides with some real world events lol.

Rs3 has been on the decline. It only peaks at a 50k amount and averages around 30k daily.

 

You do realize how many of the OSRS player count is bots, right? I mean, fuck, I run 4-6 at a time myself, and that's one person with a low budget.

 

OSRS is great but the community is absolute shit... everyone is either a bot or a belligerent manchild. I think people greatly underestimate how many bots OSRS has.

 

At the same time you do realize RS3's bot detection is complete shit. I have 3 gargoyle bots at 120/120/120. You can bot overnight and won't get shit on. The bot farms are massive there.

 

Dont get upset at facts. Rs3 has been on a decline for a long period of time now.

 

Reading the OP this thread makes it sound like people only played RS3 for staking and nothing else?

 

RS3 is dying, everyones going to osrs, look at the streamers, you barely ever see rs3 streams anymore, except the 10 viewer ones.
