I just thought it would be nice to point out, all you have to do it call blizzard and tell them someone stole your account, and you can recover it instantly.

Be careful when buying accounts.

Telling the method will just give scammers another thing to know.

 

In other words: Do not buy WoW-accounts if you want a fair trade.

 

Only buy if u know the other person in real life!

I agree on a different forum i was going to buy a lvl 70 gnome mage for a flyff account but he scammed i went last and he recoverd in like 10 days

is there any way to get safe trade about that ? i mean isnt it posible to edit phone number in acc seting at www.worldofwarcraft.com ? if no than it quitly suck --

for example i wana move to other city sso that makes my phone numbet to change - what then ?

 

Note. Its not that easy. When u Recive ur account. First thing you do is to Open IE. and Type www.wow-europe.com / www.worldofwarcraft.com And Click on manage account. Then Change password Addres and E mail. And IF the Seller Manages to recover his account. in some method i dont now how. You can dial Blizzard and tell the situation and The Seller wich sold the wow account. Will get his acc banned. or You will recive it. changing email. the email that is currently on will have to accept then its changed..

 

This is why we change billing adress get a new membership and have the MM activate the changes in his email or verify they where, then he got ownt.

Im selling my WoW account but i have been scammed many times in the past and want the buyer to go first, is there anyway i can go about it without him feeling he will get scammed. I didn't think it was that bad but this thread makes buying WoW accounts look very dodgy! :S

yes.. You basically just told a way for scammers to recover their accounts.

well thats one thing but if u do wut i do wich is just selling cd keys u get a brand new account and u cant really recover that now can u

 

well i just got scammed from Selling an account, he changed everything even before i could, so any suggestions of what i could do

 

They can't recover it instantly if the details have been changed, I.E. Password, address, phone number, e-mail address. If those are changed you'll have to wait until they investigate it.
