Very First Signature

Recently got very motivated to start learning GFx and made my very first signature today. I don't know how I feel about it, but as of now I'm just trying to find my style and see what works for me. A lot of just playing around with Photoshop at the moment. Constructive criticism/advice is encouraged as I want to get better. Thanks.

 

looks nice, definitely better than some of my first work haha. its hard to give criticism on a work that looks pretty simple. Best way to improve is to practice, practice, practice.

Can you link me some good photoshop tutorials I can look at to learn more techniques? Right now I'm finding it very difficult to make my signatures have a good flow. Need more help on blending.

getting work that you like will take a good amount of practice but once you get there its really fun making stuff

 

Do you think I should stick with these types of signatures and try to improve or venture into the 3D ones using C4D?

 

whatever you do don't try and learn photoshop by doing 3d signatures, you pick up a lot of bad habits. if you get really good at making tags it is a ton easier to transition to c4d sigs, rather than the other way around.

 

For your first tag, it's not bad at all. You should keep these in mind when moving forward.
