Ethereum: A new years report

You guys know how I can buy some ETH without waiting until Monday for my bank information to verify with coinbase? I want to get in today with either Paypal or a credit card because I think it will really shoot up this next week.

 

You can buy eth with your credit card on www.coinbase.com, you'll get them instantly.

 

Yeah, but isn't there a huge limit, like 40$ a day or something?

 

Yeah you're right, I think the limit is like 200-300$

 

Is that per day? That's not too bad, I might actually do that if that's the case.

 

I haven't used coinbase in ages so I could be wrong, but I think that's per week

I really only use Coinbase. You could check out Poloinex, Bittrex, etc. Otherwise, you have to go through the verification method to use a bank account or cc/debit card. They will deposit some amounts into the payment method you selected, and at that point you will have limits per week. For a card, it starts out @ $200 I think, then it raises as you buy larger amounts. My limit is $500 per week now.

Honestly, all the fiat on ramps require verification of some sort. As stated, localbitcoin or buying from someone you trust directly is the quickest way to obtain them.

Recently read that miners earn more money by doing ETH than BTC. That is a huge incentive.

 

ETH just broke 0.07 BTC, crazy.

Yeah it is, but it's also senseless to throw money at something on the basis that "everyone else is and I don't want to miss out" if you catch what I'm saying
