    Same happens with guys, I go for months not gettin railed and then when I get a bf they crawl out of the woodwork. Must be an ego thing, try to see if they'll make you leave ur gf/bf for them to validate themselves.

    after intensive study on this subject matter i've concluded it is 2 main reasons:

    1) confidence, when you have a gf/bf you act disinterested in them and this makes them want to work for your attention
    2) validation, if you have a gf/bf you're proving at least one person can be interested enough in you to be exclusive so it means you must be worth it
