    Green = Found
    Red = need ideas

    * PC Case - OPEN FOR IDEAS

    * Hard Drive - 500gb
    * CD-ROM Drive - OPEN FOR IDEAS (need something VERY cheap)
    * Processor/Fan - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200 + 2.2 Ghz processsor
    * Motherboard - ASUS M2NPV-VM MicroATX Motherboard
    * Video Card - nVIDIA GeForce 6150 (socket AM2)
    * RAM - 2gb Kingston DDR II

    * Power Supply - OPEN FOR IDEAS

    I need some suggestions on those things in red. Please post your ideas, and please do not post "___ Sucks, get ___ instead"

    well like always i never suggest someone building a computer without experience....

    But to be more useful.....

    The case and the power supply most of the time come together. All cases are the same just find one you think looks cool and make sure its ATX or your motherboard isent gona fit.

    For the power supply the more watts the better but its not that big of a deal.

    cd rom shouldent matter much as long as it reads a good amount of formats.

    That mobo and processor is a solid choice, I have that same mobo and for over a year its been great (my processor is the 4600+ but its not much difference) but if you want to do gaming I would recommend a core 2 duo, but that processor is still fine for gaming (also http://www.newegg.com > * for computer parts)

    For a case I would recommend a standard ATX case just for the extra room for later use and if you never plan to get a video card other than your onboard one get roughly a 500w~ PSU with at least 2 PCI-e 6 pin connectors

    ya id get the case with the power supply its a good price and you should do fine with a 500 watt power supply and it looks real cool
