Okay!! Big well kinda big news!! Listen up..

ok so I was looking through the packets being sent from the server to me and I was typing in my password wrong and recording those packets and also did this with other names :) I got some really cool results..

so the packets I was recieving from the server when try to login to the character (a) with the wrong password It gives me 4 lines of code, but when I change the Username but keep the password the same the first part of the code changes nothing else. but flip it and change the password not the username it does the opposite the bottom changes and the top stays thesame...

ok.... what you should do now is.... this...
    1. Enter a b c d e f (witch spaces so you konw what the space code is... like if it was 5tuctu2tu you would know that that is a b c know what im saying? then what you do is do it with EVERY char on the keyboard.. excet the function keys and other keys like that alt shift etc...)
    2. write your findings down.
    3. after that you can then decrypt them and read them like normal then maybe make a bot or somthing like AutoRune 3!

when you load runescape it saves a file in you windows directory called jagex(something) that records what you had on you and other stuff to, and when you log in it sends the question (to the server) "am i wielding an iron axe" if yes then it shows up on the screen.

Your computer must initiate the connection to the server, not the other way around. Now:

Packets are small bits of data, not huge collects of text. When it comes to games, thousands of packets are being sent and recieved, not 6. No one pointed this out. The file you read was a collection of sent and recieved data. I am not familiar with the program you are using so I'm not sure exactly but according to the picture it groups data.

Think about it logically if you don't understand: Why would the client need to send unnecessary data to the server? Or perhaps the client received the data and this program grouped the data.

Ok so I think I understand that the packets are being compiled into one big one and that what I'm looking at in my program is Just the interactions Between Server And Client IP's?

But I can explain the reason for so little of the packets or IP's? this was because I started and stopped the capturing of those connection immediatly so I wouldnt have to look througth the thousands of Packets or Connections that would have been their is I would have left running while playing..

If anyone wants to setup a DEV Team I'm in all the way tell me in a PM or MSN: [email protected]

What I meant by 6 packets was to insure my opinion of the data being grouped. Because I believe you were referring the grouped data as a single packet. A packet is usually a couple bytes long.

Which would be to pack it up and say "Good fight Jagex, you win"?

I can't really see anything resulting from this as everyone has stated you can't accomplish anything worthwhile with runescape from the client. You would have to be physically or remotely connected to the actual server.

Look, i totaly think that runescape is hackable and and im sick and tired of people who just cuss people out for looking into it.

For those who dont wana be part of it , why read this in the first place.

Like someone else said, To hack or so called dupe sorta. You gotta inject packets and send them to the server.

What if we did what autorune did, but used negative values instead of 0's or positive integers?

Thank you all and yes "I'm" not gonna just lay down and die... to Jagex so I hope you all do the same.... like "Macroman" said he thinks Runescape was totally hackable and he's Grand Master Rank which means he probably seen his share ;) also Jagex thougth the were totally unhackable when they were in final stages "like right before RS2 was released" but they wern't.. and also think how long had RSC been around and they wernt still hack proof? but they started new with new systems, servers, mods, and staff right....

    Anything is hackable I guess.

We just dont know our way around it.

Pretty interesting thread you've got there.
I'll keep on checking up on it to see if you guys have made any progress.

    as someone said,

try putting like 'a' as the password and recording it.
all the way to Z, see the different changes.

You're also not going to hack runescape with your current knowledge.

Grand Master Rank only means he posts a lot, notice his January 2007 join date. I was around since you could pick your fucking character type when you started a new account in 2001 before rune, addy, or even mith. I guess you have to say that nothing is impossible to hack unless you were in a situation where there isn't wasn't even a working password for you to guess/figure out. There's still no way a couple amateurs are going to be the ones to do it especially just using some free downloadable packet monitoring software that's been around for a while.
