After many hours of work, and inspiration from air painting, otherwise known as 'light painting,' I have created a new sprite, and my first sprite, with Sonic the Hedgehog as the render. Here it is:
And this is what was so important?? I like everything about it except the white shape thing on the bottom border edge. Is it ground.. or like a light accent?
It's the ground. That's why it's got a fine edge, like the rest of the border. I don't like making a single line border, so I've always got to change it up differently each time
<I like the lightning and air painting> but I don't like the whole sprite sig. I think you should take youre idea, but work it better out.
i'm really not liking this, it's like you tried to make the blue and white light stuff be from sonic running, but it's so randomly placed, I'm pretty sure he can't fly ;p the 'ground' really brings it down as well.
Yeh the ground is pretty bad, no offense, but the flow overall is miss placed. Like TDD the after w/e should of been moved down and closer in with what is coming off his feet. Not feelin the text or the line above his head either, the white effect looks like they have been cut in some places. Also the background effects of him running, dont make the effect of him running so long, it drags something good on to long then it gets boring. Nice Job =o
