Love at first site to me is this scenario "Hot chick walks in, you say: WOW I would "LOVE" to bone that chick" <------which isn't really love to me. Love is more on personality traits and emotional level.

 

your 1st statement is uterly incorrect, when i saw my boyfriend for the 1st time. i was just like, oh my god, what the hell, whats with that guy, hes just got something about him.. im gonna figure out what it is.

 

Well if its "love at first site" your going by their looks. So what else could it be besides their looks? Couldn't be their personality.

 

you should read, my post, you can learn a lot about a person just by looking at them... For example read my thread on the second page of falling in love at first site.

It may be better, but most first impression never leave a person mind anyway... And we are debating whether love at first site is possible, not how should you start a relationship.

Actually, if you think about, if you see someone for the first time, it cannot be love at first site, but you can generally have some sort of love, or liking towards them. You cannot stare at someone, and say, "Oh, I think we're in love." But yes, that is indeed how minor crushes start out.

 

Its still love isnt it? id say its a 1/1,000,000 chance that when you find someone you loved at the 1st sight of them, they think the same about you.. im lucky, unless my boyfriend was lieing, he loved me at 1st look also.

 

To start love is complete devotion to a person through hardship and bad times and supreme affection. Whether the descision to love someone is based off of lust or not, love at first site is possible...

If that is the case then Yes, you could force yourself to believe that you "love" someone after such a short period of time.

Well if thats the situation, then No..It's impossible to love someone after just seeing them for a minute. God created relationships in a way you would have to know and understand the person before you can "Love" them

Is love about personality
If so its impossible to love someone after just seeing them, and it is only physical attraction..


Is love about attraction?
If so then yes, it is completely possible to fall in "Love" with someone based on how they look, and present them selfs..

My opinion?.well at this point in my life I'm not one hundred percent sure i believe in love, or similar feelings of that matter. If anything i find that love at first site is a bit shallow, or foolish to assume you can even LIKE a person after just seeing them.. I'm probably not the best judge, my parents dislike each other. All i see is meaningless highschool relationships and drama that my school tribes on. A pathetic attempt at gaining meaning to ones life is all it is..The idea of being in love makes the majority of the teenage population happy. It just makes me question more things..

So my answer is no...for now​
