John Howard is becoming stupid and making a lot of wrong decisions, he needs to pick up his act before too many people are strongly against him. At the moment the best way for either of them to gain a huge jump with the election is focus on average families and work rights. I just hope Australia makes a good decision otherwise a possible disruption with immigrants and people moving away could make Australia fall in many areas.

Also I love how comedy shows such as the chasers make fun of BOTH (usually) John and Kev, theres always some new way to make a joke of what they say or do

Oh and don't double post, its bad for your posture of your spine...

 

personelly I dislike both of them, but if i had to choose someone i would go with John Howard only because his ran this country for a while now and we are still going alright.
and I dont really want someone who goes to stripper clubs and picks his ears them eats it...

What wrong decisions have Howard made?

In relation to the interest rates, John Howard is misunderstood. Since the Liberals have been in power they have kept interest rates lower the the last 3 Labor leaders. Over 3 years interest rates raised 1.25%, OVER 3 YEARS!

Over 2 month under Labor power we have a 1.75% interest rate rise. Also interest rates were up to 17% at one stage under a Liberal government.

John Howard is the smart choice no matter how you look at it. Plus he will retire his position through the next government term anyway.

 

My family are all howard supporters, People need to get it into their heads that the workplace relations is good, The reason nor the employer or the Employe is happy is because the system is balanced.

I've seen some evidence or theorys that with Labor ellected the interest rate will rise Masivly.

Isnt the interest rate lower than it was 10 years ago when they were first allected.

I mean its total BS how people just dont want to vote for him because hes been there too long.

Well, thats constructive. Who cares how old Howard is? Rudd looks like a pedo. Howard has nothing wrong to be taken out of power.

 

Im defintly sticking to Rudd now as he's offering a computer to every high school student from years 9-12.

Also we are still neck and neck at 5/5 each way

John Howard all the way. You see the people complaining when interest rates rise, but in reality could you imagine what would result from any financial pressure on the economy if a labor government was in charge? It's nothing more than childish for Rudd to throw around remarks about Liberal spending when it was them who managed to pay the debts they were introduced with after gaining the role from the last time Labor was in charge.

My school, a standard if not under appreciated high school already has internet speeds of 400kb/s provided by the government, which is above average when it comes to terms of the common household connection in Australia. And these computers, three cheers for Myspace and laziness where grammar and spelling flies out the window as everyone spell checks it up.

I'm not proposing the preposterous idea that the Howard government is perfect in any way or form, but it is truly a more logical choice for the economy of Australia.

 

whats the point in voting for Howard if hes just gonna hand it over? i mean god he's not saying when he will but hes gonna hand it over to Costello so your really voting for Costello or Rudd........

 

I know thats why I reckon Rudd will win.
I mean howard might get more votes is he said when he will retire.

I think John Howard shud still be PM cos our economy has boomed during his time as PM!

Howard fails, its taken him 10 years to get all this stuff done, and it probably wont eventuate, and the reason our economy is so strong is because money is never spent on anything, look at the roads, hospitals, aged care, you can say it is State Government's problems but there is no funding coming from the Federal Government, also another thing, every time I have witnessed a debate with John Howard, why does he always avoid the question with stating a new one. Basically with Howard is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Also, if you dont know, it isnt just the Liberals, its the coalition, they need to combine 2 political parties votes to win, I also think the Liberal party should change there name, because god damnit they are far from liberal.

 

Keep em comming also isn't it like a few days to the election starts.
