does anyone use the yahoo instant messenger?

am i like one of the only people that use it or what? i mean all you have to do is make yahoo e-mail for free and you can use it.... that way you dont have to download anything like with aim and msm. so who uses it?

 

I don't think anybody does.
MSN for the win. I've used it since I was 10, and it's been all good.

 

it just seems simpler to use this because you can send txt messages with it, e-mails, save drafts, and im, oh and rss feeds. also you dont have to download anything.

Downloading stuff is alright to me, only people with very shit computers who aren't allowed to download anything would find that useful. Out of all the messengers, AIM is probably the worst, MSN is the 1337est.

Well it all depends on what I use whether it be yahoo messenger or msn messenger or Aim. When I'm buying something off sythe I tend to use msn because most people have that here on sythe.

 

no one uses yahoo... I have an account online on meebo/mai because I have two friends from school that use it.

which basically tells me that yahoo e-mail is way better to get. you get unlimited inbox on your e-mails, you can use chat without downlaoding anything, and you can text people for free.

^ you can text people for free with many different programs, google it and you will find a ton that you can send right off your computer

 

well if you say msn ftw! read all the posts on this thread and give me one reason we i should get msn over yahoo.

edit: i know that, but do they come with e-mail, chat, and other things. also do you have to downlaod them or just use them via internet for free?

I used to use AIM and now I use MSN. All my emails are through yahoo, but I've never used their messanger.

 

well can you try it for me? all i've seen is people on here saying MSN is way better blah blah blah, but they never tried using yahoo for anything but
e-mail. if you do try, tell me what you think.

 

I have trillian so I can hardly tell the difference between MSN, AIM, YAHOO, ICQ, Jabber, etc.

 

I use Pidgin (multi-protocol client), and I have an account for each protocol, so I, like SMR, don't care what people add me on.
