Racism -What i dislike-

Well during many times at war and you say, fuck your country, (excuse the language)you can be accused of treason and put in jail...

 

Wow, i wonder how many times you've been fucked up irl cos of them opinions.

Every human being, race, colour, background, disability is equal amongst each other.

Get that through ur thick head.

 

He is not, saying people should be treated different based on race, but the country should take care of legal citizen first...

 

Nothing wrong with that, but the term "alien" shows he believes some are above others.

 

A very acceptable point. If you've noticed, in the media, for example, a black man is likely to get away with calling someone a 'nigger,' or using 'nigger' in his lyrics. However, if a white person was to do so, it would probably be seen as scornful racism.

 

That is so true and wrong, but untill everyone steps and starts using the word more to bring it off of its pedastal, this will never be over... I think that any race should be able to say anything anywhere...

 

Have any of you watched Russel Peters? Hes a comedian, and well to paraphrase him, the european community is afraid of airing their opinion in case their considered racists. Like finn said, its ok for a black amn to call someone "nigger" but the opposite?

 

Also, I don't know why everyone thinks all black people are calling each other Niggers. I Live in colorado and there is very few people who say that word, I have been to Florida as well and nobody I met uses the word. And many places that is consider the south in America it is very acceptible and people don't take it as a racist slur anymore and don't care whether or not it is used. We are all making the word out to make it more important the it is...

 

I thought black people call each other nigger in a sarcastic sense, nigger in some terms means slave. And black people long ago used to be slaves to the white people.

White person saying that word, is offensive cos of history.

Also, nothing wrong with white person calling a white person honky, so you can't really say that black people calling black nigger is wrong either.

You don't get black person calling white person honky now do you?

 

First of all, the only people who are not GUESTS in this country are native Americans.. even people of Caucasian decent are guests..Just thought i would clarify that..

Tell me, have any of you tried wearing a T-shirt that tells people that you are proud to be white? I see shirts like "Irish pride" "British pride" "European pride" All the damn time.. seriously? "kiss me i'm Irish" is a huge one. I hate shirts with any type of logo, company's name, quote, or opinion on it. I think its stupid and shows that you need a label to feel better. I wear blank Tshirts/sweat shirts.

But yeah when you hear white power what do you think of, honestly?

Well I would never eat a box of Ritz crackers while singing the black national anthem with a shirt that says "Ronald Reagen was the devil" on it. while your listing to Hitler speeches.. I mean geez...now your just pushing it..

Oh the whole "Nigga, nigger, negga" argument. You wont win it.. Not all black people say that word, I agree its ignorant and sets us back five hundred years. I think that just because some Afro Americans, may use the word. Doesn't give you the right to. I know some Caucasians are racist. It doesn't mean i can call them all "empty minded cave men with no dignity" It was originally used to OWN the word that was used against us in slavery "nigger", was used to make us feel less human. so by saying "my nigga" we were making the word our own and even though people thought of us as "niggers" You were "My nigger" nigga. Which doesn't make it any more right..its still a stupid word.

Forget racism lets squash it right now, what race do i appear to be in my picture? I appear to be Black or African American of course, but what does it mean, it means I can trace my family tree back to Africa. It has nothing to do with color at all, Evetually we all evolved from 1 land since it is very evident that all the countries were at a time 1, This means we are al from 1 country. Next I could say I am mexican right now or from Spanish decent and could be complete right since there is as well as Spanish settlers in Africa. Race is whatever you make of it, as a species we segregate ourselves sadly...

 

Probably because you're in your own country. If you went to East India, for example, maybe you could have a funny slogan on your shirt and not get beaten up.

Well, the KKK kind of ruined 'White Power'. And I really don't see any kids wearing any shirts like that.
