[Resolved]Elite Ranks Dice bot provably (not) fair

If this were provably fair the client needs to be able to impact the roll between when the server seed is chosen and they roll. This is normally done with the addition of a client seed that the client can change. Otherwise you just have to trust that the server fairly generated seed for your roll.

I said I'd tell the person who wrote it how to implement it better so this is how. Every 24 hours a server seed is generated and saved. The server seed hash is broadcast to the server. Every time there is a roll the nonce counter increments. All clients need to be given a seed and they need to be able to change it when ever. When you do the roll you create a new hash from server seed+nonce+client seed and use that as the base for the next roll. After the next server seed is generated the last one is broadcast.

This prevents the operator from having a macro impact on the server seed impacting the rolls.

At best the current dice bot they're running is probably fair, but you can't know because their implementation isn't sufficient to be called provably fair.

Reason why I didn't even make a sythe thread about our new gambling discord & website is because bot is not 100% ready yet but here is the biggest win this week that can proof we are always been the most legit clan out there for massive bets.
