My sotw sig

What do you think of it, i have just started making sigs, and i would like to know
how could I make it better and opinions what is bad in it. I'm trying to learn here, so rate or hate

 

Well,
Using the rook was a creative idea- you should have expanded on it.
Perhaps a chess board bg or something..

Also, the text glow is too strong and the main render needs to be sharpened a bit.
I can't tell if it was on purpose or not, but it seems like you may have gone a little too crazy with the cloner on the blue bg.

Thats my 2 cents.
