How would an apple keep a doctor away? The only way I could think of
would be if you threw an apple at the doctor....

The term " An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" is saying that if you eat an apple/other fruit or vegetables, you'll be healthy, and you wont need to see a doctor.

Anywayz i'd plant a self-exploding bomb in the apple, and i'd give it to the doctor, then leave. When he eats it, it will explode.

The implication is that eating healthily, food such as apples, will help avoid illness, and the Doctor will therefore not need to visit you, or whatever.

 

your an idiot, apples are very healthy, as finn said, and the essential nutrients and vitamins in it, will keep all the illness away, hence the doctor goes away too

 

Eh, they're very healthy for you. So it's recommended to eat a fruit a day.
