Is there even an actual reason to need to script in League?

Genuinely curious cus I feel like most people would get banned within the first week of scripting. What do you gain from it?

 

to brag to friends about skills you dont have
the same reason 12 year olds pay for master boost then just lose until they decay to bronze 5

 

As a veteran player from League I have used scripts before and it kills the game experience. If you're on 20 ping or lower you can beat scripts pretty easily. That being said if you're on 50+ ping and scripting you pretty much will get fucked by anyone above gold 1.

 

I scripted for an entire season with L#, the dude above me has no idea what he is talking about. I did it because it made the game easier and I saw no downside as I didn't really care about proving myself to anyone. The only way you're going to get banned for it is if you use an obvious evade script or do some dumb stuff. The main scripts I used were tracking scripts, such as timers for everything, minimap indicators of enemy champion's last known locations, and enemy ability cooldowns.

 

Thats interesting. Ive been playing since season 1 and I had no clue such scripts existed. I only know of the skillshot dodgers.

 

scripts are a broad thing
timers are understandable but what I am talking about are insta attack scripts kinda like.
You are in team fight the scripts makes amumu bandage toss perfectly then perfectly ult the enemy team. These types of things dont make you better at all.
or scripts that basically do cs for you 100% of the time stuff like that doesnt make you a better player at all.

 

Lol Soul has no clue. I can ping out an enemy jungler out for the first 10 minutes of the game. Information means nothing when you can't hit skillshots or when your team doesn't know what to do with the info. Sure there are indicators for every camp and summoners and spells. They're honestly easy to track not sure why you play with those.

 

if you are using scripts you don't care about getting better, you care about doing better. such scripts you are talking about improve your winloss, which is one of the main goals is it not

 

if your not getting better and only artificially inflating win/loss ratio either your doing it to lie to show off your good or because cheating gives you some sort of emotional or fiscal gain.

 

Scripters are actually rare. I've almost never come across one. Maybe 1/100 games. Its purely for enjoyment.

 

In korea they arent; you go to pc cafe and people even bring it there and everyone is playing on 1ms.
But what I said above is universal either its to pretend you have skills you dont have or for some sort of fiscal or emotional gain may it be from feeling proud you cheated or lieing to yourself you deserve your rank when you actually dont or maybe you just like getting fed and stomping / enjoy the sensation of winning no matter what.

yeah but in korea you're playing on 1-5ms. Its pretty easy to beat scripts on extremely low ping.

the thing is when everyone is using it it become a bit crazy when everyone is perfectly orb walking and pathing.

 

But pathing can't be scripted that's purely game knowledge. Orb walking should be solid by gold.

 

There are way more advance programs then leaguesharp ive seen ones that can do decent in gold games hands free completely botted.

 

Never thought about using scripts for League, maybe because I play to get better myself. I don't see why you want to do better, but not get better. Seems like those two would go hand in hand.

Scripting has its purpose, I mean if you look at the modern world we are making aids for everything. Whether it's cars that park for us or something like flight aids in fighter jets, if AI/scripts/code can be made to help us do things easier people will take advantage.

People get mislead by the word "scripts" when I first started I was D3 back in season 3 stopped playing then came back and was playing in masters. For me scripting wasn't a matter of skill because I got to masters, had no want to go to challengers, and just wanted to play for fun. I got to masters and could play w and w/o scripting, but scripts just made my gameplay easier on me/made me more proficient. I didn't have to worry about keeping times on Jung, or call my own MIA the script took care of that. As far as scripts for specific champs, they never really came close to the actual skill level of high elo.

In summary I used scripts on and off with very low to no bans, scripts don't make people better at the game IMO it just compliments the skill the player already possess. If you suck sorry but no aid will fix that.

 

I see most people that script just want to inflate their winrate and land in an elo they cant actually play in without assistance, or some people think that they can script on one account and duo with a friend to get them up, however both those accounts will get banned even though the other player was not cheating.

 

you get mad streaks, ask eren. he always scripts and is still banned.
