Good Program To Record Computer Action or To Create Videos?

What's a good program to record your computer?

Other than hypercam, or windows movie maker. Been there, done that. It doesn't interest me.

I'm thinking of trying to capture some of my CS footage, or maybe even RS if I plan to go back.

Or, to make a slideshow. Not Windows Movie Maker, it fucks up.

I used the built-in commands that CS has. You'll want to record a demo, view it back to get the clips you want, then use the 'startmovie <fps>' command (I think that's what it is, search for it). Then it saves a series of bitmaps to your cs folder. Then you can open the first image as a series in VirtualDub and compile the clip using w/e codec... them compile all your clips in a video editing program of your choosing.
There are tuts out there for this in CS, I'd google. Otherwise, use Fraps.

Frapps is ace. Ive made mine with that in the past. Currently making a ut montage with it.

Camtasia studios are good. You mainly never lag when your recording something like Runescape or other than that.
