Rule Runescape Economy!!!

I'm two and a half seconds away from locking this for the following reasons: (no offense to any of you).

You all do not understand runescape economy to a high enough degree to manipulate it.

None of you are as rich as it takes to become a major economy manipulator.

You generally have no fucking idea what you're talking about.

I GOT 5 rune helms i will sell them to someone for 200k someone must be willing to always buy it for 210k . then someone whod buy it for 220k then wed all make a profit. now i got ppl whod buy it for tht much post here much ud buy it for next person buys for 10k more n we do an endless chain post to buy or if you agree

I highly doubt you have anyone who will pay 200k for a rune full helm, you just want people to believe you and buy them from you for 220k.

Oh yeah, and this is a 1 in 100,000 chance of working, people are going to say they're in and not follow through, get bored, want to sell faster so sell cheaper, etc.

Basically hes right... in the real world it works like this some people say "oh y dusnt a country just make more money" the reason being is because the more u have of sumtin the less its value is so by you doing this whole ruling the economy thing (itll never work anyways) youll just make the prices for everything higher so literally EVERYTHING will shift upwards so itll be like going from the US doller to the Indian Rupee everything will just cost more but at the same time itll be easier to get the money. All you would is mess up the shops in rs and god knows what else BUT lets just stop the pointless talk... this is never going to happen. and i highly doubt deathofshame managed to mess up the market with 200 people (wayyy les than 1 % of the economy)

Errm, can't you buy rune helms and stuff from some sort of general store.. i know you can buy them near the blast furnace.

 

i would join, being a prominent merchenter of the Power amulet market, but i really don't think that it would make much of an impact on the overall economy

Lol too true. Really, if you want to controll the economy you are going to need 2B+ and that might just be enough to controll a single small part of the runescape economy (something like seeds might be controllable with that). Seriously, you dont have the cash or the determination to try and pull this off.

It would never happen. The drop rates is what rules the prices, and how useful it is. For you to even touch the price you would need to get 150+ people, and you may increase prices by maybe 5 - 50K. Rune Full Helms would never be 250K.

 

umm 150+ people i don't think so you would probably need half of rs to agree with this price change.

 

No, you get those random people in W2 and the forums buying whips for 2.4 or whatever. The result of this is that it goes down 50K. Get my point?
