Currently, there is no use for Sythe gold. Although that is subject to change.

Here are some future possible uses for it:

• Bump timer bypass
• Extra post icons
• MiniRanks

 

I like the idea of rewarding activity on the forum for perks specifically on the forum because it seems fair. However I highly recommend there to be selective to what you can exchange the gold for to not devalue the existing tradable miniranks and other perks - more to introduce new ones and create more of an active market.

 

Bump. Think its really important to finally get some more purposes for Sythegold.

True and that was good, but there needs to be an ongoing way for Sythegold to leave Sythe. The bump timer would probably be the best suggestion so far. One could ask a certain amount of Sythegold for a certain amount of time in which the bump timer would have effect.

 

People would be able to spam their threads more often and since you can sell gold people would just pay to have their threads at the top of the sections indefinitely. It's easier for Sythe to just sell monetized spots and pocket the money themselves.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing more uses for Sythe gold seeing as it is basically pointless and useless currently.

 

Nothing is taken seriously anymore. The severe lack of interest in ones creation says a lot.

 

I completely agree with you. Sythe gold is a completely useless feature at the moment in my opinion. Most posts are made in the market section. Giving an actual value to sythe gold will increase the forums activity by a mile.

Actually, ive been personally working on adding new uses to Sythe gold. there is a whole lot that has to be looked into and it doesn't happen in just a week, its going to take a while to incorporate more uses over time. Personally taking charge of the project and keeping up with it is a bit of work, but we are getting places slowly. i don't want to say we have in store, but by the looks of it, its going to be a success!
