Thoughts on Orisa?

I haven't been able to play that much as my GPU got fucked by my AIO watercooling.

Either way, I just played a game with Orisa and i feel like this thing is really OP. her shield is so fucking powerful and so is her mini graviton if you know when to land it.

What are your thoughts on her?

 

Her head hitbox makes her insanely vulnerable to Widow, Hanzo, and McCree. She feels powerful but at the same time she seems weak. They tried taking the best aspects of several heroes into one, and it just didn't pay off.

The mini-graviton has situations where it's amazing, but most of the time it's to stop someone stalling for a second or two. She's exceptionally good at holding one angle while Reinhardt's shield is down, but she's so bulky and vulnerable that I'd never run her without a Reinhardt. Her ultimate ability, like her playstyle, is all about holding a single angle. She's not terribly good on KotH against a decently coordinated team, due to the varying angles they can attack from. Her shift ability is pretty mediocre. I love watching newbie Orisas use it into a whole hog. The best use for it honestly is just kiting people, but that's hard when she's built around holding angles and is not terribly mobile.

Ultimately, she's a decent death ball hero. She's arguably more of a turtle hero, since she and her shield aren't mobile, but that's a death ball nonetheless. Her biggest counter, other than snipers, is dive composition. She can't escape a dive, she can only try to out-DPS or tank it, which is hard against a coordinated team.

I feel like she is really easy to kill due to her vulnerability (as Zavada mentioned). If a Sombra hacks her, she has nothing...

 

She feels really squishy for a tank. Just not that strong imho

She definitely needs some sort of buff. She is at a weird spot sorta like Sombra it feels like. Obviously not for the same reasons, but a definite more abstract pick to choose.

 

I think she does good damage. Not really a substitute for Reinhardt though.A mix of DPS and tank with the sacrifice of any mobility. Goes well with other shield guys like Rein and Winston. But you really need a tank that can engage well. Not really a tank solution by herself IMO.

 

she's pretty trash imo. her huge hitbox makes her so vulnerable if her shield is down which kinda make rein still a necessity. her ult can really change the tide of a fight tho so that's neat.

After almost a month of being a widow main i came to the conclusion she's trash. She's a light bulb for my snipaaa

 

she is very easy to kill but i do have to admit she is one off my favorite! the work thats gone into theses art!
