Question About Sythe/IRC Channel!

Hello!

Its my first time i use IRC and i wanna join sythes offical channel/the channel evrybody is located on.
How do i do this?
Please tell it step by step.

 

Assuming you've connected to the server, you'll have to register your nickname with nickserv to join #sythe

To do so, type:

/NS REGISTER <a password> <[email protected] (MUST BE REAL)>

IE: /NS REGISTER mypassword [email protected]

you'll receive a confirmation email which will contain a confirmation code that you'll have to use to complete the process. oh, and make sure that if you don't see it in your inbox to check your spam folder, it'll probably be in there. The code, as well as instructions on how to use it, are inside this email.

After that, you'll have to 'identify' as the owner of that nickname every time you connect to the IRC. (as in, if you disconnect for whatever reason you'll have to do this when you reconnect)

Type /NS IDENTIFY <the password>

IE: /NS IDENTIFY mypassword

Note: passwords are case-sensetive

then you are free to join #sythe and chat with everyone

wow This is confusing..i try to connect with the name magzter and it says inappropriate channel name..then i try magz, same thing and magzy and there all inappropriate for some reason?
