    What happened to HDPvP/Legacy-PK?

    I was the lead developer for HDPvP/Legacy-PK, and I was working with Raw Envy (Tom) towards a full advertisement phase. After 3 months of updates and good feedback from our small (10-20) dedicated playerbase, Tom lost motivation and didn't believe in the server anymore. This spiraled into a lack of updates from me and our playerbase was disappointed. This was supposed to be my last server, which is why I spent tons of time working on it and actually put my all into it. After the team split ways, I decided the server was too well-programmed and well designed to just throw it away. Although it definitely needs some more quality of life updates and content additions to make it stand out, RedRune will definitely be the go-to PK server in 2017.

    RedRune is all my eggs in one basket - I'm going to use everything I've learned from my previous servers on this last attempt. For those of you who don't know I've had servers with more than 100 players in a week, and capped at ~ 400.

    What is RedRune going to be like?

    My plan for RedRune is to have a community of active PKers in all places in the wilderness, using the blood-money economy system (which was kinda the idea behind the name RedRune). As an active pker myself, for over 6 years, I know what makes a good pking server. I might not be the best pker but I definitely know all the tips & tricks, and tick timing as well (check out my video from when OSRS officially released ).

    What can you do to help?

    At the moment, I have some good ideas about where I should take the idea, but I'm encouraging more suggestions from the community. I am also looking for dedicated people with the right mindset (not to mention maturity as a necessity) who are willing to work with me.
