    fate?

what are some of your veiws on "fate"?

some would say that fate is just a loda of garbage that someone made up to try to cover up their mistakes and watnot, and others would say that its some "set-in-stone" statement that holds everything you will ever do and outcomes of your choices.

i myself woul say that fate is just a hypothetical theory that is scientifically untestable and just a theory of faith.

fate is also a very bias topic and some are very narrow minded and say that fate is God's Will and that their concept of fate is so right, yet are fast to shun the Hindu's concept of Karma, which in essence is much more similar to fate then these bias people see, yet they still narrow-mindedly disagree and call it something completely different. in terms of fate being God's Will, man cannot comprehend God's will so therefore they made up a term "fate" to take the easy way out and try to explain God's will. which is a load of crap so watev....

well, how do you guys feel about the topic?

    fate?

Hmmm, fate is something that seems to confine the views of a good bit of people. I believe in it, but can't say that I take it to certain extremes.

"There is no fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn."

    fate?

I believe in fate, but not in the usual "meant to be" sense.
All atomic interactions are absolute, so all events are predetermined.

    fate?

    We'll never know.

There could be a sort of fate, but logically, it's one of those things I dismiss.

    fate?

I don't believe in fate or manifest destiny, I only believe that we are here to be who we are, and that my decision are not made up already, but that I can change the future with my choices I make today.

I dont believe in fate. Because fate can be anything and everything, just because something good/bad happend to someone why does it mean its fate? it could just be luck

    fate?

This is the attitude that I take also. When looking for the reasoning behind events, fate is not a possibility.

    fate?

fate to me is useless. im faithless in everything but my boyfriend tbh. when you try to believe in something, such as god, and get put down over time and time again, you feel like nothing. i tryed to believe, but after time and time and everything thats happened in my life. i say Fuck that basically.

    fate?

That sounds really sad, that you can't believe in anyone, it seems you have beenlet down numerous times in your life by people you really trusted...

    fate?

I believe in fate, but not in the 'pre-determined path' bs that some people say god has put out for us.

For example if i were to reach a point where i was to make a major decision which would affect the way i live my life then that's where my one decision would affect the whole and ultimately decide how it was to end for me. And each decision that i made henceforth would also play a minimal/maximum factor on how it affected the world around me. Our fate changes constantly due to the decisions we make because the situation becomes different. Too many variables are present to be able to predict our fates i think.

    Like:
A guy pulls a gun on you----You Freeze In Fear----He Shoots, You Die
A guy pulls a gun on you----You Quickly Dodge----He shoots, someone behind you dies
A guy pulls a gun on you----You Disarm Him----You Shoot and kill Him

Each of use decides one anothers fate

    fate?

I wouldn't call this fate - perhaps action and consequence.

Either way your outcome isn't set.

    fate?

Why isn't it? If you have two universes with the exact same scenario unfolding, will the results be exactly the same in each universe, or different?

    fate?

That is different, the outcomes will come out the same, but that would be if the outcome was unavoidable to change. Also this depends on what you define as fate. Is every choice planned out like manifest destiny or is it just a outcome of 1 scenerio. Like death is our fate.

I don't believe in fate, but I will not dismiss it, I don't believe, because I hate the Idea that I don't determine my life.

    fate?

I believe it's more commonly reffered to as Cause and Effect and Besides what i was getting at, and which you obviously didn't comprehend, was that EVERY single action changes our Ultimate fate, so it is forever changing and that was just a simple Example of a Fork in the road and what path we would go down, had i continued any further with my example i would just have hit more forks in the road for eath of thsoe seperate paths, hence i deemed it unnecessary.
