AltScape Ideas

So while I tirelessly try to get the Runecrafting pet on my RC build account I've figured I might as well play on at least one other account but I'm not really sure what I want to do on the other account. It is maxed slayer / near maxed combat, so GP options for combat are very open.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do on this account for a little bit of GP? I want to get 99 ranged (like 6-7 levels away) so keep that in mind. And I'd prefer it to be something fun like combat. I thought about Brutal Black Dragons but they're just too packed and popular. Are Skeletal Wyverns still super crowded?

Keep in mind it can't be something like super intensive because a part of my focus has to be on RC as well. So bossing is probably out of the question.

Green Dragons seemed perfect for low intensity but the pkers are SO annoying. And if I rc at the same time I probably would get pked out of simple forgetfulness and complacency that I'm logged into the Wilderness. If only there was a non wildy Green Dragon spot I'd be set. Though the loot pouch makes green dragons really easy for semi long trips.

It doesn't have to be amazing money. Decent combat experience and maybe like 400-600k/hr would be amazing. But I'm hitting a wall thinking of an idea. Brutal Black Dragons seemed perfect until I got down there and there were like 4/5 people per world that I hopped to. Have not checked Wyverns but I presume they're still crowded to hell by alts with the same ideas I'm having.

Are Blue Dragons any good? No looting pouch so they seem like they'd be too slow.

Simple requirements really:

Has to be combat. I want 99 Ranged off of it.
Semi Decent Gp/Hr - 400-600k is acceptable. If it's a little less let me know.
Again -Nothing besides combat - I'm aware I can fish/wc and what not. Not what I'm looking for.
Semi Afk/Simple - Think Green Dragons

Ideas I had floating around but would need someone to confirm if it's decent enough for my requirements:

Blue Dragons- Crowded? Viable? (No loot bag for these)
Camping a certain Slayer creature?
Wyverns - Still crowded to hell I presume?

Not really sure what else. Sorry for long af post, but tried to jot down the ideas I already had. Ik a lot of you are smart as hell at the whole AltScape game. Gimme some ideas.

Right now I think I might just have to deal with Pkers and do Greens

 

Wyverns and Brutal Black Dragons for sure. Go to pvp worlds if they are packed. Yes you can get tbed, but it's pretty easy to escape in both locations imo. just need to turn your in-game sound up so you know when you're being attacked by a player.

 

Might try brutal black dragons + wyverns at non peak times. Green Dragons as I said are real good but Pkers are irritating. Even kids that don't go there to pk or are passing by get the urge to try to kill me. Nobody ever actually has killed me at Green Dragons.

Is there any really obnoxious item I can bring to make myself near unkillable? Might bring a Bulwark LOL

 

Wyverns/brutals on pvp worlds are alot more safer than green drags imo, and alot lot less pkers. yea, its hard to get killed on green drags, but think of the time you're gonna waste there tho. you get tbed you run from 23 wild to edge.

i dont think so. just fast teletabbing I guess.

 

PVP something I'm trying to avoid in general. I get too distracted on RC that I'd get pked eventually. I don't really see it as a waste since it's only something I'll be doing on top of RC. I just want kind of a casual way to knock out 99 ranged while I go for pet on my other account. I'll check out the PVP worlds though, ty for advice. Or did you mean waste as in running 23 levels? Yeah, that's a waste. Agreed. And annoying. And a big reason Green Dragons are such a hassle to me. That's why I'd like to avoid the cancerous PVP element entirely. Too many bored wannabe PVPERS that go after skillers. All within the confines of the game, of course, but also very irritating.

Open to other ideas if anyones got any. There's gotta be some other semi decent money making monster I can kill. I'm fine with like 30k ranged xp /hr and like 400k/hr. Time will fly doing RC on top of it.

Edit: Or if someone has a good casual monster to kill that's Afkable and decent xp (40k+ /hr with minimal gp gain if any) I will take that too. 99 Ranged is what I want most - don't care about the GP as much.

Don't really want to do NMZ or Chinchompas though.

 

What's your total level? A handy way to avoid the crowds and pkers at the likes of green drags are the 2k total worlds. The sugesions above are probably the best.

 

Like 1700, was considering grinding to 2k for that purpose. Not a bad tip

 

From what I've read, gargoyles might be an option worth looking into. I'm not sure how effective range would be there though.

 

Oh interesting idea there man. I'm not sure either. That's an excellent observation though, as a lot of Slayer monsters got buffed drop tables after I got 99 (of course lmao). Might be worth looking into.

 

My buddy camps gargs all the time. As long as you have the autosmasher unlocked it's super afk and decent cash.

 

Sweet will try it dude. Any idea on if they're viable with Range? I don't think I ever ranged them on 99 slayer, but I only ever cannoned tasks.

 

Wiki says weak to crush and mage. You also can't cannon them to my knowledge. Im assuming range wouldn't be bad

 

Will try them when I'm back home in the coming days. No cannon is no problem, I'd imagine that'd kill any profit I got. Granted I don't really care, but that's definitely always a small perk to at least be making something.

I'd assume I'd be camping these at Slayer Tower?

 

Yessir that's the place you can kill them off task.

 

Word good stuff, I was hoping the Catacombs had them so I could get some damn use out of Zeah, but alas it was not to be

 

What cmb are you? Personally, when I pk @ greens I don't attack people with blowpipes as I cba with venom, so bringing one may work while you kill them.

Also, you can use a cannon @ west drags to make it even faster
