Ideas for starting a new business.

I'm looking to start up another business(irl) but I'm looking for good ideas that will attract customers.
Throw some ideas at me and I will try to expand on them.

If it's free it will most likely be a useless idea, just check what other people are doing and think how can you improve it to be better than them

 

Not really looking for free because as you said they are useless, I'm willing to dump quite a bit of money. Thanks for the advice will look into it.

 

What is your skillset? Run a business based on you being better in a skill than the majority of people.

 

Maybe create a rsgp site shop combined with a gambling site? Just an idea

does it have to be an "IRL" business? Look into affiliate marketing or blogging if you're tech savvy.

 

There's a difference between starting and buying a business. To start domehing you either need to be skilled in a certain area or have a unique idea. Obviously there's the different option of buying something like a franchise

 

If you're goal is to attract customers, then you've already failed.

Entrepreneurship is not about selling things to people, it's about impacting peoples lives.

There's a few books I would recommend before moving forward. The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann, Start with WHY by Simon Sinek, and the 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss (in that order). Then you will gain some basic knowledge and understanding on how to start a successful business.

 

This is so vague. Give some analytics on your "other" business you have going on, show what type of things you excel at, what demographic are you looking to target, etc.

You ask vague questions you won't get any good answers.

Gas stations don't bring in too much profit.Most of their profit comes from the food they sell.

I currently have around $30k to invest. My brother and I are bringing in around $3k a month profit but are looking to increase it to $20k.

I think of it as slowly increasing going from 3k to 4K and so on. 20k is not as bad as it looks, 30 days a month $660 in sales a day= $20,000 a month.

 

Edit: but then it takes a lot of time and work to build yourself up to that kind of profits.

 

Try online retailing. You will have to find a niche that is not oversaturated. Best of luck!

 

Which platform would be the best to sell it on? I was going to sell mass quantities on groupon but there fee is so much I barely make a profit.
