I got to wave 62 and logged, got a user to do jad for firecape.
He killed jad but no firecape was gotten. I assume he died to the healers then played it out as if it was a bug. Chat log below. Copy pasted for ease. Photo links edited out.

Does this constitute him being responsible to do the whole caves?

If you ordered a Jad kill and he can provide proof he killed it, the Service should be completed

BUT as you didnt get the Cape, its something you can argue with since you ordered the Kill to get a Fire Cape out of it.

If he died in caves even if Jad was already dissapearing / death animation started or even finished then he wouldn't be able to get fire cape because he was defeaten.

 

Killed jad, got the message, didn't die (had the correct prayers on and healers were killed) took no damage from his last hit spawned outside the cave, had no firecape in inventory or on the ground (2 spots were free in the inventory)

 

he couldnt hit you outside of cave, as time between death animation and you getting outside of caves is long enough to HP bar dissapear above your head, most likely you lagged and hit appeared outside of cave and you actually died

 

spawned outside cave with a full green bar, not a red one, if you die at jad you'd spawn with a full red one
