BEST RECORDING PROGRAM FOR GAMES?

What is the best Game recording Software I am looking to upload Clips and stuff to youtube but was wondering if OBS is the best thing to use to record gameplay.

I've used everything and OBS always ends up being the best.

Be careful, I tried to download a cracked version of Icecream Recorder yesterday and got a f***ing virus that took me 4-5 hours to get off.

 

Fraps is the best!

 

I've used Fraps, OBS, and Camtasia. I don't know the difference honestly. Though
I haven't looked at everything extensively.

I've used Camtasia a long time ago...they give you a 30 day free trial.

 

Plays.tv, OBS, or Camtasia are all great options. Plays is really convenient, while OBS is good if you put in the effort to setting it up properly. Camtasia is good if you're lazy or don't have the knowledge to set up OBS well.

 

If you're looking for free - for quick video shoots and have an NVidia card, isn't their GeForce software's Shadowplay excellent for that? It -was- ultra light the last time I checked... but that was years ago.

 

This or as others have said OBS always works well.

 

OBS or Fraps

 

I used to use Camtasia, and Hypercam when I used to make Youtube videos.

Hypercam records videos at a lower quality imo, so I'd say go with Camtasia.
