07 Gold Sinks

I think 07 is in desperate need of more gold sinks. By far the best one I can think of would be a 1% sink in the dual arena. If staking only items you would have to put up Gp to cover the fee as well. Thoughts? Other possible sinks?

 

Theres plenty of gold sinks already but im not sure a staking sink would get voted in

 

I cant think of many gold sinks in game already. What currently exists besides lms

 

Construction is probably the biggest gold sink in game 150M+ for 99 100M+ to build a class house

 

Pkers buying back untradeables every death, That can range to about 200-400k per death

 

Nightmarezone is also a huge gold sink, it's probably the biggest gold sink in the game tbh

 

Right forgot about NMZ. yeah 20-30k per dream is a very good sink, We also cant forget the alkharid gate

 

Dying with untradables during PVP is a way bigger gold sink than one would think. Much more gold being dumped into repairing broken items than NMZ is taking in.

 

We need item sinks before gold sinks

 

Can someone explain the concept of gold sinking and item sinking? I apologize if it is not the smartest question.

 

Suggestion: If you die in the wildy the items should only show to the person who killed you with like a 5 minute timer, the rest goes out the economy, I just want those annoying looting bots to go away haha.

 

Gold and item sinks take money and items out of the game

 

Think the price of gold will go back up?

 

I may go up slightly with the new fight caves update. But its been fairly stable for a while at $1/m

 

Without gold/item sinks the game would be flooded with items and eventually become worthless, That being said the sinks help with that.

 

Imagine if there was a 5% jagex fee at the duel arena. Gp would be long gone. XD So many 5m gone every 100m staked.

I wonder how much gold disappears per week from accounts being banned

 

Interesting but if it's gp made from rulebreaking I guess it's not a legit 'sink' so to speak.
