Explanation of the trade: I was selling a runescape name that got sniped during the transfer & I said before hand that I was NOT responsible for snipes.
How they scammed: At first, he had said he wouldn't do name middle mans, and later agreed to middle man for us, and then continued to agree to middle man and take gp, and act as if he was really middle manning the name swap, and then once the name got sniped by someone, he said 'I only mm accounts' he should have stated that when we asked him to MM the trade, and we made it clear we were doing name release and not account details. I have all screenshots to prove this.

You continued to agree to do the trade with us clearly stating we are doing a name swap. We asked again if you were down with MMing for us, & you said yes. you should have said 'Not if it's for a name swap'

Well man, when we agreed to me not being responsible for snipes, you should have not refunded him the money. I was owed that 76M

it is the responsibility of the middle man to understand the terms of the trades before even proceeding in mming a trade, we both stated that we were transferring the name not the account, and we both agreed i'm not responsible for snipes... you should not middle man if you do not take this seriously

@Purp Skurps anything you said I remember you again, isn't your terms, are my terms you can't put/remove any term or condition, if you used me to mm you accepted my terms before do it.

 

you shouldn't have continued to agree to do the MM service, knowing we were doing a trade that you didn't do. You said 'yeah' when we asked if you were going to do this mm for us, after we had stated that it was for name release not account swap, AND you then continued to take the 76M when we were clearly stating in teh chat logs how we were goign to trade the name.... You then decided to go and refund the 76m to the buyer when we clearly stated snipes are not on me. I'll wait for an admin to sort this out. Hopefully I get the money I'm due.

You should have never continued to do agree to MM the trade by taking the 76M if you knew you didn't mm those trades, why take the 76M? and then when we CLEARLY stated that I WASNT responsible for snipes, you still gave the gp back to the buyer, why? That was technically my 76M once you had it on your account and I changed my rsn, you gave it away..

WHEN WE MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE TRADE WAS FOR NAME TRANSFER AND NOT ACCOUNT SALE YOU SHOULD HAVE NOT AGREED TO MM THE TRADE AFTER WE STATED THAT IF YOU WERE UNCOMFORTABLE DOING IT. IT IS 100% YOUR FAULT AS BOTH TRADERS AGREED THAT I AM NOT RESPONSBILE FOR SNIPES. WHETHER YOU MM NAMES OR NOT, YOU AGREED TO MM OUR TRADE WHEN WE STATED HOW WE WERE TRADING. AND THE TERMS OF SNIPES. ON YOUR THREAD IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT U REFUNDING MONEY IF A SNIPE OCCURS. YOU MADE A MISTAKE.
