It's the weakest out of the three. The look, details, and design should've been what the second was. Get it, beat it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
I found it the most amazing game of all time, and I would have sucked a dick to get it earlier had I know how amazing the game was. 5 songs left to 5*, and I can't beat TTFAF...buuuut... I'm 64th place on scorehero on The Cliffs of Dover (Expert, of course) Hit me up on XBL. Daily500 is my gamertag. Word.
SELL YOUR LEGS TO GET IT! lol actually i agree with instatutionalized in that the graphics look horrible, i hate them. but i think the modes and the tracklist are the best of the 4 so far. HOs/POs are alot easier to hit in this one too, but sometimes they can throw you off. just beat it this morning on hard. its easy as hell up untill the last tier, it jumps in difficulty way too fast imo. srry for double post...
it's sick, the songs are awsome but its alot easier then gh2... gh2 gameplay was better, hammerons were actually hammerons in that game
songx: Your right, but the problem wiyh the hammer on system in Guitar Hero II was that it didn't work to well. In Guitar Hero III, they fixed the problem, but they may have somewhat over did it. I'm not complaining though, makes it easier for me to try to beat the expert tour.
Never really got into guitar hero, but I played at my friends house and compared to the other two it was lame.
