Redgiant61 and Frostfire are scammers!

Explanation of the trade: I was swapping osrs gold for rs3 gold. I had two people message me at similar times, one with a 1:6 offer the other with a 1:8 offer.

How they scammed: Nothing was scammed, I caught their attempted scam and called them out on their scam prior to trading the gold. This was an attempted double team scam of some sort. I made a post saying I wanted to swap osrs gold for rs3 gold. Both of them messaged me around the same time. I was at work so I was delayed in replies. I was aggressively messaged by the two of them to go through with the trade. I wanted to see the gold and Redgiant61 told me I should just trust him, as he has the gold.

Frostfire was sketchy and very aggressive, I called him out on the multiple bans from his IP audit and he said it was ok, he just plays on many IPs and other sythe users must have been on the same IP and got banned.

I got a middleman, Mr. Extremez. I went into a group chat with Redgiant61 and Mr Extremez. We were talking and then suddenly, Redgiant61 left saying he received a better offer from Mr Extremez, our mm. After a moment, I gave slightly better rates to see if the deal was still on or not. Redgiant61 told me that our mm didn't have enough osrs gold to under cut my offer. A moment later, Redgiant pulled me into another chat with an imposter Mr Extremez (Frostfire). "Mr Extremez" told me that he was sorry for trying to undercut me and provided me a world and location to meet to go through with the middle manning for the trade.

The imposter "redgiant61" said he received a better offer from our middleman, saying he is undercutting me. Shortly after, he said the middleman doesn't have enough and will do the deal with me. "redgiant61" added me back to a chat with a name changed "Mr Extremez"

I know for a fact that none of these match Red's Skype

I understand, just confused as to how I got a pm from him with our skype log. @Redgiant61 , what do you say? Can you please provide screenshots from your side?

 

@Bandit tank does Redgiant's PM match your skype conversation with him word for word? The impostor could have pretended to be you to Redgiant so he would send a PM to you.

 

The pm's are very similar but not exact. I said 1:8 and his said 5.5. They must have impersonated me to talk to redgiant, then had redgiant message me.

This isn't their first rodeo... a quick search on sythe for their skype name showed this very similar situation:

Can you link the Mr Extremez impostor to Frostfire? The skype "live:the2017grind" is linked to many banned accounts on Sythe.

He says that that is him and plays on multiple IP's.

 

@Frostfire states on all his threads he only uses discord as an off site communication platform. I need proof that the skype "live:the2017grind" is linked to his Sythe account. Him telling you it's his Sythe account on Skype isn't enough unfortunately.

 

Hey. I posted on bandit tanks thread. Talked to him a bit about doing 1:5.5 for the swap. He wanted an MM but it was taking time so i went to bed and told him we would do it in the morning. Here are the logs

Sorry for the late reply. As you can see from the chatlogs I went to sleep right after talking to the guy on skype.
