I don't think we'll die in 2012 because I was watching the History Channel and it was about this guy Nostradamus. He predicted WWII, the WTC bombings, and the fire in England in 1666. He said that the world is coming to an end in the year 3797, most of his prophecies were right, I'm guessing he's right hopefully.

The prophecy about 9/11 was a hoax, and as to the others? His quatrains are so vague they could be interpreted to mean almost anything.

i dont believe in all this stuff about the bible and that.. to me its just a succesful selling book in the stores and some people get too attached to it and start to believe.. yes i have read most of it.. and it doesn't really interest me. i was once a heavy christian but now i realised that there is nothing that i am believing in.

so if we all die in 2012 then ill be damned.. but i doubt it cause humanity will probably find a way to counter it

Also, how are you to know which of the many religions is the right one? Will God reward you for "believing" in general, or for adherence to his true religion?

What if the true religion has not yet been established?

Anyway, what if God wants us to use our senses and logic, which would tell us that there is no God? Might we not then be rewarded for not busying ourselves with the worship of our creator, but rather, for living a good and decent life?

Its POSSIBLE.. but i highly doubt it.. there is no where near enough evidence... and + even if it is true.. im sure scientists would find something wrong with the theory.

 

There was a rumor just like this about the world was gonna end in 2000. And all the computers were gonna crash cuz they couldnt take all the new time changes are some shit like that but nothing happend just some rumors dumass people made up.

That right there is scripture. It says he will come and we wont know the day the time nor the hour. Who is to say he wont come then? Who is to say its not tomorrow? We wont know when so don't say its not then because its when jesus is coming because he could come then or the day after or a year after.

as for the religious thing, i just scanned through and saw some argument. I believe in god of course, but i am not part of any set religion. I believe there is a god in general, some higher being, but i am not going to get anymore specific then that. Getting into detail only increases the chances of error exponentially.

And saying someone elses religion is wrong is atheist in a sense. You want to call someone who does not believe in a god an atheist? Yet you will go out and say every religion other then yours is wrong, and that their god is false, and yours is real? Contradiction i say
