Fire cape services

So today I posted a thread on fire cape services, after two minutes a forum addict reacted.
I had no proof of me completing a fire cape service for someone.
OFCOURSE!
How am I supposed to upload a picture of me achieving a fire cape for someone if I'm just started?
The terms for uploading a fire cape service must be rewatched, because this makes absolutely zero sense lol.

 

Upload a photo from your own account proving you can do it, fairly simple mate

 

Doing a service for myself? Lmao.
Everybody can fake those photos, still makes no sense to me.

 

People aren't going to trust a newcomer without proof.

If your good enough to have a service firecaping for others, you should have no problem completing one for yourself, and taking a screenshot as you kill Jad with the text above your head as that would be pretty hard to fake.

The rule is fine, it just stops people who can't actually do firecapes from making a thread and scamming someone.

 

Don't want to argue over this point anymore, we both have different views on this one.
I still think the best thing is to not include pictures of yourself achieving the firecape because everyone can ask somebody to do that for him/her.

 

Haha no worries, hopefully Sythe will change the rules they've had for 10 years because YOU have a problem with them.

Although it's not very hard to fake a picture if you really wanted to, it does act as a deterrent for people who can't do them and just want to scam users on the site.

If you're able to provide a service, you should be able to prove that you can do the service on your own account without much issue. If you can't prove it, you probably can't do it in the first place.

 

If you read the whole sticky, there's also mentioned users with 5+ legitimate vouches for fire capes don't have to provide picture.

 

How are you supposed to get vouches if you have no picture of a service (because you can't do one because of no legitement picture as proof). Btw I have my firecape on 3 different accounts, but it's way too simple for people to fake one.

 

People have opportunity to create fire cape REUQEST threads aswell and nearly everyday there's fresh thread. There's your battlefield to compete with others and show your advantages if you have any. When I was mod I banned dozens of people who faked proofs that's why it's required the picture has to be taken while message is above character's head and while jad is killed not outside of caves
