Request a Feature

UnrealIRCD (the irc server we uses) is coded in C, a language that I'm somewhat proficient in as far as the need goes, and I do spend some of my spare time writing modules for unrealircd when the fancy strikes me.

If you've got something you'd like to see on the IRC (within reason, of course), please post here about it, and you can rest assured that i'll see it.

Ideas would be:
A new command, channel mode, usermode, modification of an existing one of these things

NOTE: If you don't go on the fucking SYTHE IRC don't post here.

A more stealth way to kb people, and NO +Q CHANNEL MODE, for the love of god!

by more stealth, so it doesn't show "(TDD)" at the end of every kick ;p

command to clean the channel of idlers?
like if their idle time is > 2 hours then auto kick?

all i can think of.

 

Idling makes the world go 'round, and it would only inspire people to bitch because they get kicked all the time.

As for signing kicks ((TDD) at the end of the kick message)) it's there to prevent total abuse and prevents you from faking the kick's source (which can cause problems with the more bitchy people, like Aiman or Dorito (faggot))

Sythebot could also come of use via a query for general users. He could list and describe the commands that general users can use and how to use them. /query Sythebot !Help

 

A faster way to delete memos, i got spammed with memos a while ago and don't have the time to do "/ms del 1" through to some huge number, have something like "/msg memoserv del *"

 

There is a !help as it is, though only for the ! commands, and normal users can't use any commands in channels they have no access in as it is.

They can also type /[C|N|M|B]S HELP.

I'll look around for a help bot module or something though.

As far as +o can ghost, if you're referring to channel operators, there's no way in hell, because it's basically handing you the /KILL command with a different kill message.

What about a bot like Lysols L-Bot, but instead of adding the quote in the channel it query's it to the user.

That half op can use !kb and it will ban them, not manually do it -.-

Resident, make a command so that anytime you ! a user, say !MD it pages the user. That'd be hawt for little noobies that need someone banned on sythe
