    Ok- here's the deal:

I attend a small private University, the only available network to access the web is controlled by the University and has a strict filter.
    This means:
    -No connection to IRC
-Keyword filters (Anything crime related, anonymizers, warez, anything triggered as nudity or porn-related[I can't even access DeviantArt!!!], "BAD THINGS", etc.)
    -Proxy block

So I can't use proxies.. I can't connect to any other network..

HELP. Find me a website that has a unique proxy.. or sumfin..

I wouldn't suggest doing anything. I don't think the punishment would be worth the risk.

Idk, but I would try to upload a keylogger on one of the computers an admin logins into.

Then use telnet to loginto the admin and disable the filter through MS-DOS.

Please go away you don't know anything.

Alright what you want to do is find a free host that is allowed at your university, and allows for .cgi scripts to be put on your web space, then find a .cgi proxy script and upload it to the webspace, use HTTPS:// if possible and password protect your web space and as long as you keep it to yourself then you should be fine.

Well, my friend tried this at his school and it worked. If its a website you're wanting, try for this:

Start > Run > Type in CMD > It will bring up command prompt > Type ping (website name) > Copy that > Open up internet > Paste in adress bar.

It works on my computer and my friends schools one. So with a bit of luck, it may work for you.

Yes and a keylogger is just fine right?

If an admin catches you on a proxy they will probably tell you to not do it again (and block your proxy) unless they are a total tight ass

Give him a keylogger steal his password and make alters to the system (which you cant do with telnet unless your administrator is a cat) and I would bet bottom dollar you will get your computer rights revoked and possibly criminal charges pressed.

Any website blocker worth its money will filter by IP than URL it MIGHT work but the chances of it working are astronomically stacked against you.

If you want a list of the best proxies I've ever come across just PM me, I don't want any idiots (Ie: aronj) coming along and wasting my time though. You can also set up your own circumventor.

If you randomly take off the filter on certain sections of the school or websites it'd be totally anon.

Please don't say I don't know what I talking about cuase I did it in high school for two years straight and didnt get caught. They can't monitor your activity if you're not part of the log.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If your ICT department spends half has much as most schools do (Wendy is at Uni, so it will have a huge budget), they will be able to see exactly what parts of any network/website you entered and at exactly what time. They can have events set up to trigger an alert when someone adds/runs/deletes ANYTHING on the network.

If you really want to take the risk (believe me first hand no one takes this lightly if caught) then heres what you need to do.
-Go register on your home computer at http://www.logmein.com
-Add your computer to the access list in your profile.
-Log in at school and access your computer from school and then you will be able to use all you computer functions granted that you set it up right.
PS make sure home computer at home is on, kinda hard to use a computer when it's turned off.
Also it's basically safe. Just make up an excuse for if you get caught. I am taking computer related courses so I can say I was furthering my knowledge. But a plan never hurt anyone.

Chances are, if it's vtunnel that worked, it's because it's through a secure connection. Try https://kproxy.com too and tell me if that works.

Oh God. TELNET INTO ADMIN COMPUTER? DISABLE FILTER WITH MS-DOS? WTF?

    Stop watching television.

Dogoncouch, if you bothered reading, Joshwhatever had already said vtunnel.

If you want to get on IRC, try getting TOR (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2275) and use a java irc client to get on. A list of proxies can be found at proxy.org (get a list of some from home and use them with TOR at whatever)

    What's your deviant art anyways?
