    Don't know, Don't Post

    Hello all

Lately I've been seeing a lot of people posting things like "I don't know" and "No idea" all over the forums. It has been particularly bad here in the Tech Support section. I don't know if the posters have generally read through the thread and concluded that they have nothing they can do to help, or they're just mindlessly (and stupidly I might add) trying to gain a higher post count, but it is going to stop.

From now on any post simply saying "I don't know" or any other such words of equal meaning, will be deleted and the user warned. Repeat Offenders will be given Infractions.

Lets see an improvement of post content people.

    Cheers

How about we just go straight to infractions?

Everyone with a brain knows that "I don't Know" is just spam, and putting this sticky up should be the warning.

Well, were i'm from we use i don't know as a figure of speech... for example..

"Man You know what time that papers due"

"I don't know, teacher said like Tuesday"

so even if I actually know the answer or solution, I'll say "I don't know"

But i'll stop myself from now on..

I agree 100%, if you don't know the answer and how to fix it then its not worth posting.

yea saying "i don't know" is spam to the max cuz it has the dual function of not helping out the person who's asking at all and also showing the answerer's own lack of knowledge at the same time

    Hello Miss799 Apprentice

    Don't know, Don't Post

Theres no reason to post anything if you don't know the answer, I beleive it should go to a straight infraction.
