    Interested in learning C++

    After searching Google for 20 minutes and not getting one tutorial on starting C++ with no programming skills what so ever, I decided to come to this forum. A lot of you seem to know what your doing so could you please post some good tutorials/starter webpages? Thanks.

    Interested in learning C++

    Well, i am a complete noob to C++, but i usually start by buying a book then researching code on pscode (http://www.pscode.com). The book series i like to buy are 'In easy steps' (http://www.ineasysteps.com/ they are nice and easy books to read which are very helpfull, i am mentally retarded so i find colourless books like the 'for dummies' series =]
    anyway i hope i helped you, if you compare the samples of in easy steps and dummies you may see, dummies overall is bigger and you will obviously learn more from, but i find in easy steps much more interesting to read.

    Nice! Thanks!

    I'll probably just use this to help others, but cprogramming.com helps a bit more than this does.

    Good luck! C++ is my favorite language! :)

    www.cprogramming.com is fair helpful and it goes step-by-step from the start with both C++ and C languages. Also, after each step/small guide, there is a little quiz so you can reflect on what you have learnt (you do not have to do the quiz).

    Also has info on Compilers, Debugging and editors. Give the site a try because it really helps.
