Explanation of the trade: Ordered a signature, few hours on the sig and then he tells that someone is making it for cheaper, We did not set a price at any time, was going to talk about the price once he sees finished product.
How they scammed: Dropped the order after is spent few hours on it.

If you order something, you should be going around asking for prices on other designers.
Fuck order dropping.

 

i simply diden't like the work he did on the planes and said i could get a better deal with signature and UI from another user on the site.

 

Backing out may be unfortunate and while I would encourage Flight to give a small thankyou $ for trying, you laid out no contract, did not set a price or time agreement. You did not forbid him from looking for other gfx artists.

In the future, I would suggest making some sort of contract or requiring a deposit. People are not beholden to the gfx you make and there is a reason most graphics artists present 2-3 options of work after taking an initial deposit.
