Damn that line work is ill man. I've always wanted one too, and lol, I got over that stigma. I hate how tattoos can be 'common'. Every artist is different, whether it be their shading or line work. I say go for it dude, tell anyone who says it's common to fuck off. I got a black rose on my shoulder and I know it's a very common spot, but I give two shits tbh.

 

For sure. I kinda stopped giving a fuck about what people say about tattoos anymore cus if I like it, I like it. My body my rules anyway. Like you said every artist does their tattoos differently so its all unique in their own way regardless. Yeah, I'm saying that piece is complete but I want to extend more on the arm.. I'm just not sure on ideas of what to go along with it.

 

I have been thinking about getting inked. Friends tell me i would look good with some tats and that it fits my personality blablabla. I have thought about it and i really want to get a sleeve or two.
IMO i think it doesn't look good if you dont have the full sleeve i feel it looks like you have stickers in your arms.
I am also thinking about getting something surreal as it my favorite art movement of them all.

Maybe something kinda like this but black and white.

Go for it man. If thats what you really want you should 100% do it. What are you scared of? The pain or possibility of regrets?

I agree that if its not a full sleeve it does look like stickers for awhile lmao. Unfortunately, unless you do all 25+ hours in one sitting (almost impossible cus your body will just give out) youre gonna have stickers for months and months

The last part is def a myth tbh. Although.. the lower your body fat the more pain itll be hahah what you def should do though is spend a good couple weeks/months researching an artist. (What you can also do is print out ideas and stick it on you just to have a feel for it you know)

I'm also worried about employers and superiors in my industry (IT) being Ok with tatts.

 

I work IT too. They never see my tats (and I have a LOT) I wear a button down to work so I'm usually in the clear. Honestly it just feels like a cat scratch when youre getting it.. The aftercare just feels like a bad sunburn and then itches

nice!! my only feedback and tip is to make sure the cross is centered cus thatll give me nightmares if its slightly to one side and not the other lmao. Don't feel bad for asking them to reposition it.
