Obby Mauler Tank

Ok, so I've decided on making another Obby Mauler. This time around, though, I'm going to do a few things different. First of all, defence. Start off at 40 and then progress from 50 to 70 (GRanite or Torags).

Now, before I start making him, I do have an account with 20 attack and 39 strength. Do you think I should just train him up to 60 strength and use it? Or should I start afresh with 5 attack?

Don't make a mauler at all if you ask me, you won't be able to hit anything to people who are not pure. Unless you like killing 1itemers...

I have never thought of that, seems like a weird idea, but yet intresting. Have you seen anyone obby maul tank?

 

If you make a mauler you must have zerker necklace [atk plus]

 

I would most likely be using a zerker. It's really one of the few reasons why Obby Maulers work so well.

And yes, I've seen one or two Obby Mauler Tanks. They're quite effective in the right circumstances. Unfortunately, if a mager comes up they loose the edge. You don't hit as high or as often, and your defence level does jack all to stop there spells. However, there isn't too many Magers around that level.

And as for the guys who said something about not hitting, you're wrong. I suggest checking out YouTube with the search term "Obby Mauler". They hit. A lot.

The only real point of this thread is to see if I want to go Tank and if I should use the account with 20 attack. It's definately faster training, but will the attack levels pose much of a threat with the aditional combat levels?

 

its a huge waste of time, you would be much better off as a low lvl ddser if you ask me. if obby mauls and tanking is your style, make a staker if anything.

 

go 1attack, like 75 def, and 80+str.

 

start with a 5 attack account i reckon

 

I have 5 att on my mauler, it does help. Its all personall choice though
