Name release

Seriously, is anyone ever getting this problem: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

I get that it'll be because so many people are trying at once to change their name but it just makes it impossible to get the name you want.

Has anyone gotten lucky/found a more successful way?
And are their actually people running scripts with like 10+ bots to snipe upon release?

Let me know your thoughts/knowledge on the matter, cheers

 

As far as I'm away there might be 1-2 people running scripts, the only way to run a script is via php/html through the runescape site which is pointless as it's far more beneficial and effective to get 250 total and take a name via the rs3 ingame name change interface as that doesn't lag too much and doesn't instantly have 404 error. Only other way is to use an autoclicker/manually click on an RS3 account with a deleted name so it has a one click to take a name. However this is pointless to do now as jagex are literally just re-releasing the names off the accounts that have used bots to take a name from the release. Notable names that have been re-released include; Agility, Anne, December and Dumb, possibly a few others too. Just have to be quick via rs3 name change interface.

 

Ok thanks for the info. Good to see some names getting re-released - gosh knows how people are lucky enough to get them upon their second release though!

With the in-game name changer, once you type in your name, say I want "Example"... I type in "Example" and hit enter, then it comes up with a few randomised options because it's still not available, do you then have to type in "Example" and hit enter again?

Yes you have to keep retyping the name and pressing enter until the names are released, if you're fast enough it will pop up with the second option to confirm your name choice

seemingly a lot of people have been sniping and it's next to impossible to get somedo hung half rare

 

yea it's kinda harder this time around i feel like specially since its 1 letter each day, so there's 1k+ ppl going for one name and it sucks, last name release where it was in batches was way better, seems like their system still is terrible though

 

the system this time was a bit screwy, i wish they released 5 letters a day (at random)
ended up getting lucky and getting my irl name!
