    I got windows live messanger and how do people contact me or how do I contact them? Were is the button that shows add the other msn or something?

    Above your friends list (if any), there is a search bar, to the right of the bar, there is a picture of the MSN logo (green dude) with a plus (+) sign next to him. Thats how you add/edit.
