Explanation of the trade: He offered 100M OSRS GP for my RSN: Cowl

How they scammed: I agreed to go first and the name exchange went as planned and he took the RSN, later claims that he didn't get the name and that he would refund me some cash. He then blocked me on Skype.

Was name liability discussed? do you have any sort of proof he successfully transferred the name?

 

I don't necessarily have proof that he transferred the name, but he did say that he would refund me if anything did happen. I made sure to follow the guide on transferring names. He wouldn't have deleted me from Skype after saying "let me sell some stuff" if he wasn't a scammer if that makes sense :/

 

Just posting here to see if theres any updates, The name was supposedly snipe right after he said go. I told him i would pay him what we agreed upon only if i received the name.

 

But if you look at the Skype logs which I posted screenshots of, you even said yourself you would give me 70m compensation if anything did happen, and right at the end you said you were selling stuff to give to me, but instead deleted me on Skype. You're a liar.

 

Fact 1 - Kanto agreed to giving 70m if the name gets sniped.

I did agree to giving 70m rs3 if the name got snipped. But there is no proof of the name being snipped. As soon as he said "go" I was spamming the name for a good 10 seconds so there's no way the name got snipped. So my guess is he never changed the name to be transferred as there was no account given to transfer.

But there's no way we can prove if he changed the name actually or not. And if it got sniped. So there was no scam to begin with.
Edit: a good ten seconds before he said go.

 

If I bought the name and had it as a fresh account or an account then tried to transfer it over on my own and it didn't work then it would have been sniped. I've bought multiple names all without problems so I know how it works.

You're backtracking and lying. You can add my account in game and see that my previous name to Similarr was also similarr as I changed names twice.

 

You're lying again, in the Skype log I purposely asked if you were there to make sure the transaction from me changing my name to you obtaining it was instant, and it was, the name was taken instantly as I was able to add it right after.

 

As it's a double name change there's no proof that before that it was the name for sale. Only way is to get a jmod to see if they can check it.

Again with the second there is no way to prove that it was snipped or that it was just your account

edit: not posting till staff. There's just no way to prove both sides with. Some changes unless it was on an account that I received the name with.

 

I'm going to let the mod decide on this one, but you're just snaking your way out of everything.

1. Why would you think I didn't have the name when you asked me to confirm it with you in rs. I have those in my pm history with you.

Edit: the name confirmation is in another message with another member, not the accused person. If a mod can check my pm history with @Dosd you will see that I owned the rsn.

But my last comment to that is im not saying you didn't have the name. You sent me a screenie of the account with the name. If it's your account or just a screen shot we will never know. But there's no proof that the names you changed where with the same account or not.

 

I really hope you get banned, I don't care about the money or account name. I just hope you can't do this to other newcomers trying to sell their names. I won't be replying unless a mod asks any more questions.

I'll pay the 70m rs3 if staff says so. But it's just the principle on how do we know I actually got sniped. It was just to quick to be a snipe.

 

There is no proof other than having a jmod confirm it which is highly unlikely. I guess I'll ask a jmod on reddit if they can show my previous names. The cc deliveritems also saw my name and knew I was going to sell it, they could confirm it too.

 

Yeah post on Reddit I mean if you do own the account then they'll prove it. And if it did get sniped I mean shit them damn bots are fast af and the the account with the name on it now is different then your ip then I'll gladly pay the 70m rs3.


Edit: the reason for the deletion of your skype was I was under the impression you never transferred the name. So there was really no scam to begin with only an attempted scam but it's almost impossible to prove that so there was no point in talking anymore.

 

This album here proves that I owned the rsn and it was sniped from me. Both screenshots show my rs3 account with the exact same xp. Cowl on the first image was last updated 22 hours ago when I did have the rsn and Similarr was updated 8 minutes ago proving I did own the rsn. You can add similarr in game and see the previous name was also similarr.
